Talk to your seller and ask if MT can send you a replacement part. When I damaged my Vulcan cab piece through sheer stupidity they sent me an entire new shoulder for free so they might literally just ship you an entire new arm for your Noir.

If you do a search at HLJ for "frame arms" you'll find all sorts of cool stuff. ;)

Finally received my Noir. He comes with an impressive assortment of weapons, but I say 'what's one more?' Scythe is called the 'Crescent Rose'.

That weapon looks almost exactly like Ruby's gun scythe from the anime web series RWBY. Is it?

That's exactly what it is. Fantastic show. I figured it would pair well with Noir

Just got this guy in today. It's an awesome figure! The black looks great and the weapons were fun to build. Giving SM and RD the ion cannon and katanas respectively was icing on the cake for the whole set.

I'd assume the Star Saber is a bit of a loose fit around the hip, but, man, does that look cool. How does it work out for you? I've gotta try that for myself.

You can use the tank to apply pressure and keep it pretty snug. Certainly good enough for a shelf anyway. I just stare at him trying to think of a new way to incorporate the weapons, he's a blast!

I've found myself messing with this guy a lot more than Striker Manus. Primarily because I want to keep SM in better condition because, well, it's Optimus Prime. Also, there's just way more display options with Noir. So so much fun. I really hope they make a black Megatron repaint—I'll snatch that right up

I think when the line flourishes to about 6+ characters, there should be more reissues of Striker Manus, unless they make Thunder Manus the same character.

2-3 releases a year should be okay. I don't expect Maketoys will go on with their MP line after the Starscreams given that Yes Model is KOing their Headmasters and Targetmasters.

As long as Maketoys gives notice I'm OK with certain characters never being reissued if they are only recolors. Following the third party trend of eradicating pre-order bonuses for reissued items, Maketoys probably will eventually reissue Noir without the extra weapons. And hopefully they realize the market for stand alone weapon sets once the line has grown larger. For example, Roiter still needs a mace to hold...

Any tips for removing the weapons from the runner? I haven't built any sort of gunpla since I was a child.

Google "removing parts from a sprue".

Use sharp gunpla cutters. If you don't have those, you can use nail clippers. Double check you are cutting the sprue off and not cutting off a part of the weapon. Whatever you do, don't ever twist or pull a part off the sprue.

A pair of nice model clippers (such as those made by tamiya) will change your life when it comes to building kits. And a nice sharp stanley knife with a sturdy blade will help you clean up any excess plastic you leave on parts.
