Just received an email today regarding the production delay. They’re looking to have them shipped out before July.

Same on getting the above email. I will believe it when I see it happen.

I hope this means we'll have Meteor quality and not what occurred later on the recolors/G2 versions, especially after waiting 6 more months for the product.

How can there be production errors on a mold that has already produced three other characters, plus a convention repaint? This is a bad image email from MT, they are dropping the ball, this piece should of been already shipped and a new repaint(s) should it been started.

I'm not in on "G2" so I'm not familiar with the issue it had. What exactly was wrong with it?

Looseness, parts popping off, pin out of place I think, which created a panel (crotch area) not lining up, and some other odd things. Unfortunately, very limited of buyers reported there (4 or 5) and maybe one or two said they didn't have issues. I'm not sure if its because some didn't open it or it wasn't as popular but the timing and after TC & SW that felt looser when compared to Meteor makes you wonder about Sunstorm and its long delay to be released.

I hope it was for the better and MT corrected any and all QC issues. If not, my next concern falls on the coneheads and what they will be like in hand.

    Thanks for the info.
Yeah, I'd rather wait for the delay & get a quality product than a rushed product with flaws. Fingers crossed!

My G2 Screamer had loose wings but otherwise seemed fine. I'll have to check out that panel/pin thing on mine. I didn't notice anything when I transformed it to 'bot mode, but I was having a heck of a time getting jet mode to line up properly.

Looks incredible, plenty fun to play with, but given the looseness and the difficulty in getting everything all lined up properly in jet mode I definitely do not feel like it was worth $150. I would hope a crowdfund figure doesn't have those same issues, especially if they want to try doing this again for other limited run figures.

Looking for one also but I don't think anyone who has ordered will not want to at least see it before selling as it is indeed limited.

I decided to buy 2 of these back then.
Will post them on my sales thread as soon as I get them in my hands.

If you'll let me I'll buy your spare from you, sight unseen and quality unseen. I'm quoting myself fro September to show when I previously expressed interest in getting one up for sale.

Mine was in junk mail also.

While I appreciate the extra effort to ensure we get good quality figures, this keeps dragging out. I may be wrong, but weren’t we expecting these around Christmas originally?

Yep, based on the crowdfund initially communicated out to backers. Then, I thought March/April was the new ETA, until it was pushed again to June per this email we just got.

Right. I just wanted to make sure I expressed interest ahead of time. Basically I wanted to call dibs.
