And MT wonders why they are struggling because this I'm sure isn't helping with their cone heads they are trying to release.

That was my first thought prior to MT's reply. That release seemed to be delayed in getting in the exclusive sellers hands after TFCon and just became a trickle effect from there.

It goes to show where we rate after fully supporting this project. Thanks MT!

 

For what it's worth, I heard no exclusives from Maketoys for Toronto this year. They know they need to focus on getting this out.

 

We'll see. Probably they meant "no TCP exclusives" and we'll see a TFSource one. The MT rep will simply say : "oops we did it again."

 

I'm gonna go against the grain here and say while I don't like the delays I don't dislike them any more than I dislike regular 3P pre-order delays. Don't get me wrong, it shouldn't be something we just accept, but at this point its the price of doing business. That said, I think because it was a "crowd fund" not a "limited pre-order" they should have given more updates.

But hey, last update had 1 in the photo and this one had 3, so if you do the maths then at this rate they'll all be out by 2054

 

What's strange to me is this: they managed to push 3 things out at the same time right after Chinese New Year for TFCon, but they are having the HARDEST time producing 562 pieces of this thing?

Don't make me laugh. Can someone check if Solar Flare is the name of Spence's new cafe?

 

They had a rough time with it and it was rushed. They don't want to repeat that.

Has anyone received any conformation emails from the beginning of this kickstarter? I mean, i paid when they initially started the kickstarter for this & have never once got any conformation abt my purchase that i can recall.

 

And people wonder why I don’t often support crowdfunds. I’ve seen so many projects of other natures just stall out and eventually be refunded.

 

I just checked mine today and looks like there was a confirmation from [email protected]. Nothing beyond that and the payment confirmation from paypal though.

Damn, I thought these were shipped already. At least we’re getting a free pair of calipers to scratch our nutsacks with when the thing arrives.

Just received an email today regarding the production delay. They’re looking to have them shipped out before July.
