I'm honestly at the point where I don't think I'll be keeping this guy when he arrives.

My collection focus has shifted, and I don't have a need for him anymore...

Man, the MAAS thing makes me so sad. The designs were cool and the passion seemed to there, but they fucked up hard. And what's worse, it hurts future attempts. If a group with better business and cash management sense comes along they're gonna find it even harder to get funded.

 

I haven't really been following this (apart from hearing about delays) because it doesn't particularly interest me, but I have to give MakeToys credit for wanting to go the extra mile by inspecting each and every figure before shipping. They may have made some questionable business decisions in the past (barely, but still) but they definitely seem to be one of the better, more reputable third-party companies out there.

Also, maybe it's just because I had no involvement with this project, but I never really thought the delay was a big deal - I was pretty confident that they'd deliver the promised product at the end of everything.

 

Depending on how this works out,I see myself supporting their next project too.
Hopefully we can get a MP rainmaker set once and for all!! Come on Maketoys!!

Man, after seeing how much fanstoys Phoenix X has been selling for I wonder if this will also be going for redonkulous loot?

 

Fanstoys X was advertised as 1500 units,maybe more.
This one was way less than that,supposedly only 562 units.

 

Glad i supported the crowd fund... sure hope this ships out soon.

But if it’s released I guess you can call me a fool because more likely I’ll order one.

 

If that purple jet was made, which character would he be. I would buy one as it is a nice tone and saturation of a deep purple.
