So I received mine and am getting to know the figures individually first. I’ve only opened Afterburner at this point.

He is a good little bot. I love his alt mode. Knee articulation really suffers in robot mode from panel placement. Also...part one of his red tire halves stays stuck into the other when separating the wheel.

Other than that he is a cool little dude.

Just wanted to share this thread that I started since Quantron is going to be in a new batch of owners hands. Here’s the link again...

MT Computron options, mistransformations, fanmodes & add-ons

Congrats to everyone who jumped on that incredible deal! Enjoy your new fig(s) and I hope you like the thread.

Question. Sonic Drill’s chest doesn’t seem to want to stick in robot mode. Is there a trick to that?

    If you're talking about this...

    IMG_20180825_082242.jpg
The plate his head is on has little "indents" on it.
    IMG_20180825_082811.jpg
That are held in place by "nubs" on his chest.
    IMG_20180825_082837.jpg
When the chest plate is pushed back all the way, you should be able to push down on the plate his head is on and feel a soft click as "this" tabs into "here".
    IMG_20180825_082449.jpg
It should end up like this when it's done.
    IMG_20180825_082012.jpg

    I hope this helps!

IT does. The plate mine sits on is actually too wide.

Well that's crappy, can you post any pics?

Maybe send some to Maketoys and see if they can shoot you a replacement?

Do all the changes mentioned in this video come installed on the individual releases?

Yes. All boxset versions from the first run needed replacement parts, but all fixes were implemented by the rerelease with single packaging figures.

The ones he has installed be default are slightly misassembled. The pins and his knees are driven in from the wrong side, and as a result, the peg holes for the Combiner elbow piston are blocked. The replacement thighs have the pins driven in properly.

Would either of you post pictures of the pink bleed? I ordered the set from TFSource during the last time the set was on sale, and still ahven't shipped the stack - I'd like to know what to expect :)

One mine it's mostly on the underside of the nosecone/cannon - where the white plastic rubs against dark red plastic. IMG_0602.JPG
