It's not unheard of, and that's three in quick succession from different companies. Perhaps they can't get photographer time to suit the completion date and release date window?

 

Yeah, but supposedly some retailers have Jazz in stock right now. A photo of the box wouldn't hurt lol

 

True, the box might be nice. I wouldn't be wanting them to open one especially, but then that's how XTB's Quint Judge final version is available to see, so it's not impossible to conceive them doing that.

Give it a week and at least some collectors will have him in hand...

 

So does anyone have any suggestions for the best insigna sticker to use for Downbeat? Normally I'd just stick a clear backed toon insignia on there, but with Downbeat I need something that can cover up that white outlined logo shape on his chest.

Are there any blue-backed Autobot logos anywhere? Preferably in the toon style? If not, what do you think looks best?

 

Pop out the white piece from underneath. Paint it with a decent matching blue, mine was a mix that was close enough, then use your regular logo. Thanks go to @Chris C137 for that advice a while ago in this very thread

 

I heard about that before, but as a matter of principle I never make permanent alterations to my figures (unless it's for repairs). Maybe if I could find some blue tape or something, instead...

 

I'm sure you could use isopropyl alcohol to strip it off again if needed?

But yeah, tape might work if you're using stickers. Not sure waterslide decals would like tape as much as plastic and paint though

 

And I'm amazed at how much this seems to bother some people. You're content with it as it is? Cool, guess you've got no problem then. Why make a fuss because other people are expressing their opinions on it? And when exactly does it become "whining?" When you don't agree? Cuz in that case, your post is sounding kinda' whiney to me.

And in case anybody wonders: I don't have a horse in this race. I already decaled up my Downbeat and painted his shins myself so I'm good. But for anybody who doesn't want to go through the trouble, it's perfectly justifiable to say so. These things sometimes get back to the manufacturers, so it's definitely worth voicing your preference.

 

TF Express UK are seemingly shipping them from tomorrow, so hopefully we might get to see one 'in hand' come the Wednesday.

 

Depending on timing, might be Thursday or Friday even. But someone UK based will have them before weekend
