What's the side view look like? Wondering if someone's gotta produce these little pieces of plastic on the cheap...

Maybe we'll see something similar to that on Shapeways or from @jream or @autotronprime

It still looks the same as it did without the piece added. It was just made quick with really no thought put into it. Now that I look at it I could have had it go around the sides a bit.
I looked on shapeways and in the radicons and didn't see anything. I would buy it if someone made a part for the back.

Hey JSix I totally love what you've done for this figure! (and JazzJunkie too). Especially your approach of removing the default deco. Right from the start I was thinking to remove at least the wrongly positioned door 4 then place individual decals rather than having to sticker the entire door. Great to see somebody who's done it (and some). :)

Got one question. Hope I don't come across as complaining about the quality of what you have made and shared for free, but I wanted to check if the 1583 x 2048 400k JPEG we can download is really the highest resolution and quality you produced? I only ask because I was myself a 'victim' of this site auto-downsizing large images when you add them as an attachment - happened when I posted the scanned and translated MP Megatron article and people couldn't read the smallest text.

Some of the smaller stripe and logo decals look pretty pixelated on the downloadable 1583 x 2048 image, whereas everything seems to look a bit crisper and cleaner on the photos of your figure. Could just be an illusion and they print and apply looking OK, but it did make me wonder if the site has downsized your image like it did with mine.

Lastly could you or JazzJunkie point to a good youtube tutorial or similar for applying water slide decals for noobs if you know of any?

Many thanks and again, I love your work here! :)

    My set is up here:

    Downbeat - Reflector @ TFW2005

Overall great piece. Was able to handle it in proto form (no pun intended) at TFCon Chicago. Was trying to stay away from 3P MP cars but I'm failing. :)

Back of car in car mode, yeah. Robot mode, damn near perfect. Only gripe was that the snap on the undercarriage of chest / front-of-car would pop out on almost every re-positioning. Because I'm absent minded, that shows up in some pics. Can be fixed for a final pose on shelf no problem tho.

Isn't the consensus that Takara will almost never make Jazz due to needing the Porsche license which is either too expensive or they won't agree to giving the license?
