Definitely want this. It would be cool if they also included his little Superpack booster sound effects accessory like the original G2 figure. I always told myself that he needed it to keep up with Jetfire.

 

More G2 maketoys drama to come, cant wait for the uk and asian dealers to get twice as much inventory as the show itself and be told that it cant be shipped to the US.

 

Or Australia if it can. I certainly hope so.

 

I got a quick glimpse of the packaging. Clamshell just like G2 Jazz. Looks pretty sweet.

Couple of things -
Always browse on a computer - TaoBao doesn’t play well on mobile.
Use Google Chrome and get it to auto translate to English.
Install the AliWangWang app (every listing has a little blue “teardrop” shaped icon which is the TaoBao chat live option to chat with the seller. Click on the icon and agree to install the Alichat protocol and you can then chat to the actual seller)
Most sellers don’t speak English so use the Google Translate tool to translate English into Simplified Chinese and translate the sellers replies back. That will let you check stock levels, when it will be delivered etc.
If you’re an Aussie who’s looking to buy a fair number of 3P figures going forward, it’s definitely worth investigating TaoBao. Shipping is loads cheaper than US stores, product prices can be up to 30% cheaper than even Show.z and delivery to Aus is usually around a week.
I buy my figures almost exclusively from TaoBao now and have even picked up other stuff as well. Bought a laptop, a wireless network setup, a number of toys and gifts for the family. Barely shop on eBay, amazon or anywhere else online now.

Cool. I'm annoyed though that they keep having those teases for products it seems like they're not intending to make. Or who knows, maybe they will eventually. But I want that Mycro-X Reflector! Like I've held off on getting their actual Reflector because I don't have the space for both sets. And so if I'm limited to one set, I'd prefer the toy colors, since that's what I had when I was a kid.

Heh, and while its doubtful they will have stock of Screamer after TFCon, if TCP has it up for order on their site, I'm definitely going to try and grab one. But if I did get him, I'm not even sure where I'd put him.

Which brings up another question, what's the best way to open up a clamshell without destroying it? Is there some sort of special tool?

 

I’ve also wanted that reflector. Along with the detritus and metalhawk. They’re all so cool!

Its nice but G2 Thundercracker would have been more visually stunning.
