I received Meteor yesterday and I was excited and looking forward to replace MP11 in my collection.
Probably I had too much expectation and I can say that Meteor will be my Starscream just until some other company will release something better.
My main problems with it are the glossy finish that doesn't match with the one of MP36 and the face that it's too dark.
This is probably just my problem but I also gave up on transforming it at the front part of the jet, too many squeaks and I was scared of breaking something.
I don't care about the back part, but I also wish I could move the head up.
I still think that it's better than MP11 in robot form, but I am still looking for my Starscream

Hmm, looks like Meteor is a bit taller than the MP-11 mold, unless I'm seeing something wrong. Nice.

Yes he's a little bit taller to the top of their heads, but he has a smaller head overall so the difference on the crotch and chest heights is more pronounced.

 

Me too! Looks like a Starscream shipment this month, with Galaxy Meteor and Meteor coming at the same time.

Meteor just crashed-landed into my PoL...

 

And it's made all the more apparent by MP-11's head being too far above his shoulders.

 

Mine shipped yesterday from the Chosen Prime. Looking forward to opening the figure hopefully by the beginning of next week.

 

Nice pics. Do you think Meteor can still look good with the more detailed MP's like the car bots and Soundwave?

I don't think MP-11 can kneel at all like that, but Meteor can...

Is that Quake Wave or Quake Blast?

Mmm, the hands are mushroom pegged on... not sure how the MP-11 hands attach? Would they work? I wonder if there's some 3P hands with mushroom pegs...

 

Somebody covered that already. They'd work but you'd have to mod it

mp11 are mushroom pegs, but smaller so they don't fit, already tried that. I think you could mod them to make it work but that might prevent transformation as well.
