Easy pass. Hips and legs are totally wrong. I guess MTs can only do HM and TM, which is okay. We need those too. Now I don't regret getting TC from TT. I'm guessing SS is going to be the same mess this figure is.

I'd definitely be interested in a masterpiece-styled Megatron tank. It would display nicely with Apollyon, I think.

I'll have to see the final product & reviews. I've got a V1 Apollyon that I've only TF'd once. It was not fun & I've seen horror shots of him breaking in half.

If Maketoys has a better gun mode & a decent transformation, I might consider a swap. Apollyon is a fantastic looking piece, but I like a little play value in my toys.

It's just line art but I don't like the feet or head. I was really hoping this would be a home run. At least I know it won't fall apart while I transform him like both of my apollyons did.

May have to hold out for TT, or just get a 3rd Apollyon and just never TF him.

Looks good. The knees seem too high like a lot of Megatrons, and maybe the chest should be slightly larger.

Hopefully we can see a prototype soon to make a better judgement.

It does look good but I concur that the design looks 'busy'. More like a neo G1. If the quality is there and durable, I'll get it. Who am I kidding? I'll most likely pick it up!

I hope we get a MT version G1 Optimus Prime too.

Line drawing always look busier than the actual product. Here's the line drawing for MP-10, it looks a lot busier then this drawing.

    Looks pretty good to me.

and if there's one allergic to 'busy' style, it's me.

I'm working as a concept artist for some big companies, and line art is sort of a gone thing. I'm glad to see it's still there in the toy field, and that no over rendered and textured art is needed to show off what the final product might look like. The main shapes are still simple and readable as such, details are just what they are and they're not interfering in any ways the main lines of the character which is very well tought and proportionned to me.
Very curious to see the alt mode and of course the solid prototype. :)

Wow very nice. I can't wait to see what MT does with the face. Megs has the most distinctive and expressive face in Treansformers and I am pretty sure they are going go give us several.

Wow, if Maketoys actually end up with a final product that looks anything like that, it's going to be very hard for any other company, Takara included, to one up that design/aesthetic... it looks fantastic...

Please tell me this is in scale with MP-10 though!?!?

It's part of their ReMaster line so yes, it should be in scale to MP10.

He looks so beefy, I wonder if he's just gonna be a gun you can't actually hold in your hand comfortably or if they got something special in mind for the leg transformation.
