The one thing that bothered me in the review (besides the knee and elbow design), was the lack of paint. With some small touch ups by a pro this thing can truly shine like the beauty he's supposed to be. He still shines, but more like a booty now. Which is also good mind you.

I had my scale resting on my couch instead of a hard surface, so that probably effected the reading.

Redoing:

Fanstoys Soar: 1lb. 9oz.

Maketoys Cupola: 14 oz.

Maketoys Iron Will : 1 lb. 5 oz.

So he is 4 oz. lighter than Swoop.

Overall looking good, but the elbows....

 

And the knees yikes! Those elbows remind me of generations hot rod

 

There's a lot of good there though.
The elbows do kinda sucks but he's a fantastic figure overall. He's a step up over Cupola because of better transformation and better joints.

 

Yeah, the elbows are pretty bad. Until that video review posted a little bit ago I didn't realize he had a double jointed elbow since none of the pictures so far seem to use it. It looks like you can use that to avoid the nearly-severed-arm look in a lot of poses.

mine is sitting at tcp waiting for me to get the itch or a shipping buddy to come in.... those elbows, i cant beieve there isnt some room for a cavity to hold some extra material on the back of the elbow joint to fill that out a little

 

I wish the chest tabbed in a little tighter, but other than that he's a great figure!

 

Yeah hopefully if thickened with a bit of glue or floor polish the tabs will hold the chest better..Might try that when mine arrives.....As far as the elbows and knees are concerned,its been known since the first pics gotten released,so i dont know how is that an issue at this point

 

Yup he is great !!! yeah there is a filler bits on the elbows, that are pretty well designed.

 

Yeah chestplate on mine doesn't tab super solidly either. Not sure what the reason for it is but it seems like theirs only two small tabs inside it that hold it in place and they aren't enough to get the job done.

Unless they simply need to be thickened might try doing that.

Other than that this guy is just a boat load of fun and looks so damn cool, the elbows and knees don't bother me at all. Once you get this massive hefty bugger in your hands that kinda stuff goes completely unnoticed.

Very glad to hear that they're doing a foot update on Cupola, I'm curious how the helmet update for Ironwill is going to pan-out. I'm assuming it's to make it more accurate to the cartoon model?

There have been reports of people not having the tabs for the arms and/or feet of the headmaster, so that they can lock in head mode.
