    Wrong figure - this was for the deluxe class G2 "Laser Optimus Prime" that came out in 2010-ish, Maketoys' did an armor/trailer for that, but now they're making a stand-alone figure to entirely replace the Hasbro one.

    I did see a thread about someone doing a "nova prime" armor set for Battle Core Optimus :

    The thread title says CW Ultra Magnus, but take a look at the pictures and you'll see it's the Battle Core figure.

    It doesn't, the blues clash horribly, and the pinkish red does not look good with any of the red from the armor.

    The Diaclone version makes me think of ShartimusPrime. Man, I have too many Battle Tankers already, but this still looks so tempting with the raised shoulders in armoured mode.

    Anyone else hoping for a straight-up RID Scourge out of this mold? There's a ton of these "Nemesis" repaints, but nobody seems to want to do a good Scourge with modern articulation.

    Pretty close, I think - more than other "nemesis prime" repaints. But if you compare TFCC Scourge to the core bot in the Nemesis set you'll see there's difference in paint applications and some of the plastic colors.

    That said, I'd be happy to have the opportunity to buy Nemesis for not-ridiculous price, so if Maketoys wants to just do a re-release, that'd be cool.

    Still wishing for Gento to be repainted in Ultra Magnus colors. SG is cool and all, but my I've got a UM shelf that needs more.
