He just arrived today from TFSource.
What an improvement over Hasbro’s version. :Gouki:
As of right now, he will likely remain my only CHUG-scaled figure that I’m not selling off.

I dunno how I feel about Battle Sentinel. He is indeed an improvement over CHUG G2 Optimus.
But this whole set is a reminder as to why I sold off my Battle Tanker years ago. The tank itself is so ridiculously frustrating. Plus putting the armor bits on Gento doesn't yield as satisfying a result as I thought.

I'd ponder selling it, but I doubt there'd be any takers.

Okay, I'll Bite. What exactly is going on here? New release of this figure? New upgrades/accessories? What am I missing(besides the other half of my mind)?

Showcasing the figure, its modes and its variants. Not every pic or thread update has to be news. Sometimes it's just about (and should be too) celebrating a damn good toy.

Well Excuuuuse Me. Remind me to never ask any questions around here, lest it annoy all you "Better than me" folks.

...And I was starting to like it around here.

You asked a question and I answered it, man. No snark intended and apologies if it came across that way, I just cut straight to the point.

Exactly. I didn't know HOW to answer it because I didn't know what about me posting a picture 9f Vattle Sentinel in the Battle Sentinel thread or what about the picture itself came off like there was a new addition or the like being made for it.

All too often, some folks will post images (without comments) that represent changes/announcements/news afoot (like a teaser or something for some interesting development). And by not adding an explanation, the poster puts the onus on the readers to decipher what the news is.

I suspect that this common practice of posting teasers makes some new folks feel like if a new image is posted without text, they need to ask if the image represents any news that they couldn't figure out on their own.

@UltraMagnusLRLL should have asked about it in a nicer way, but I know what it's like to be in his shoes -- seeing a super-cool and mysterious image of an awesome-yet-unfamiliar figure and not knowing its significance. Is this picture of a new upgrade set? A redeco? A rerelease? He didn't know what it was about -- that it was just a pic for fun.

Often, when I'm the most interested in a figure is when I ask the most questions.

BTW, I love your images & reviews. They're epic. They sold me on buying Battle Sentinel, and I'm super-happy with it.

I'm just ignoring the unecessary drama to post about Battle Sentinel in the Battle Sentinel thread. Someone who's been here since 2003 isn't "new" and I honestly don't just see random pictures of new additions or whatever about items being posted without a blueb to give context.

I appreciate it and glad you're still digging it.

These are the questions that need to be asked! LoL. Of course there's going to be that vocal minority that starts with the "No repaint! Where new mold?" that they didn't do with things like the Seekers or Maestro but realistically I'd love to see this line finally finished off with Duke and the Magnus getting new cores.

Release them insanely limited as just the core body with the corresponding new sword backpack and crotch plates and call it a day if need be so far at least the people who bought the originals can upgrade if nothing else.

The height difference is fairly significant between the old and updated bodies on top of the newer bodies just plain looking better to me.

Neat seeing the figure in its 3 different modes. I still kinda wish I picked this guy up. Probably for the best since I am out of the classics line.
