For those wondering this will be packaged with MT Rear End, and is designed to go with RTS Battle In Space Cyclonus (from the two pack with Rodimus). As the pictures magisman posted show though, it actually works well with the lighter purple version as well.

There's a peg hole on his back for his Targmetmaster so that piece with the slit for the sword will peg in there.

I sort of wish it came with an extra two horned head, but otherwise it's good.

 

I like the figure but it doesn't do IDW Cyclonus justice.

Cyclonus looks amazing with the upgrades.  

 

It'll be interesting to see whether the parts are a separate add-on kit or included in the Rear-End package, as without owning a Cyclonus myself, half of the package is unusable. Then again, I bought their other Manga Mech pack just for Swerve, so we'll see when we get preorder info.

 

Well glad to see that the set is acceptable on both versions of Cyclonus, bought an extra just for the upgrades, so hope it's the brighter purple version. So hard to tell with lighting in photos.

Man, the part in the middle should be standing up, not curving down as part of the head. I guess it's not that big a deal but it really seems to be bugging me

 

So has it been confirmed that this will not be bundled with Tailgate?

 

I think so, MakeToys made it seem that way on their Facebook page.

EDIT: I think it'll come both ways like how they made Swerve with MFB, then had the MFB kit sold separately.

Uggg. The horn looks like garbage. That's unfortunate.

 

I'd much rather have a CW Cyclonus kit. This looks good except for the plastic color not matching.

 

I have to go with Thundershot, I would much more prefer a CW Cyclonus kit given that the base figure would be easier to get

 

This set looks great. I wonder if they'll be releasing a version that will match the Universe version. On the other hand, I can't, for the life of me, find one of the legs of mine, so maybe this will just encourage me to buy a new one.

 

Which version of Cyclonus do u need for this kit?
