Maybe to you. It's way better than MP52 for some of us.

I'm sure they'll get to it. There's definitely money to be made and they need the money.

I'm also very hopeful, I sold my copies earlier this year when we needed money for expenses from our wedding, moving and buying a house. So yeah... I'd dig a reissue :)

Honestly I think an MP sized NewAge Seeker would hold its own to the MP-44. Wonder if anyone would consider making that.

What do you suppose the odds are that we'll be able to just get a set of the new faces for our old Meteors?

$150 is a solid price and looks like it comes with wing fillers as standard. A great alternative if you don't want to pay the extra premium for MP-52.

You have to love that the new norm is now everyone can be a scalper, every store can just charge whatever they can get for figures, instead of charging fair prices or MSRP. No one would have put up with this before.

i'm sure they'll say they paid aftermarket prices to get him thats why they are sold at those prices, but i bet some stores (not sure if tcp is one) holds back stock when they think a future shortage is going to be a problem they can "solve". its easy to predict which products that will happen to based on character. this was pretty much foreshadowed by none other than hasbro asia charging insane msrp for mp thundercrakcer and mp skywarp - the equivilant of $275 back then - they know people wanted to complete the seekers.

Pass. I'f i'm going to pay that much for a bot i'm buying the 2.0/3.0 Takara Tomy officials. A couple months ago i would've jumped fast but not anymore. Hell, i even bought the new Starscream for under $200... No thanks, TCP.

They were the first store to charge way over MSRP for Thomas. They got in magical mystery stock of Thomas and charged $375 for him. So yeah, it looks like they are.

That is a pretty hefty mark up on those two. How has this happened? Are we to blame for buying these at that price, or is it the retailers? I understand the principle of supply and demand, but it's getting out of hand, especially with fanstoys and takara.

There's been a bunch on eBay for way less than that with people selling in anticipation of reissues. I mean, they haven't announced them yet but it's a pretty safe bet. Just hang back.
