TF-Source has this guy for $200. That looks to be a great price, but is everyone waiting on a Hasbro version in Earth Rise?

 

I got mine. Can't believe it hasn't sold out yet.

 

Had it been the purple one on sale, I would have jumped in. The black one? No thanks.

 

I've been waiting for that kind of discount. I jumped on it!  

 

I've had this thread watched for 11 months since hearing about this sale after the fact last year. Ordered!

And no still not going to get it. I might rebuy Cupola though.

 

I was wondering abou that (and I would like to see it happen), but I wonder how likely it is given that Hasbro has never repainted a Titan class figure. Not trying to be a nay sayer, just thinking it through out loud.

 

I'd buy it, Black Zarak wasn't as big as Skorponok in JG1 fiction anyway.

 

man Id love to buy this thing. don't have the extra 200 at the moment though, so if its still available after the holidays maybe ill jump on. Bet it'd look great with a legends collection.

 

Both Pandinus and Devil Stinger are top notch. Stretch the abdimon and lock it from retracting, face the feet down: and he stands up against HasTak Fortress. Standing balance is lost though with the feet down but looks very good. With his arms being monstrously long and large, it looks.... G1. When I'm back in town, I need to take some shots of this. He has an incredible shelf presence.

All modes are so very nice and the amount of accessories and bits makes this a figure that can be happily played with.

Because this stylization and default shortness of robot mode, I think it put off many at first and now he has been forgotten as too short and too expensive... not G1 show accurate enough. I say no.
This is a masterpiece.

Because Pandinus he can be short and wide also gives him a place for the comic universe in your collection.

Get Devil Stinger at this price. Get Pandinus while you still can. One can't wait for another coming of this big bot.

I'm doubling down to paint the extra in metallic gold or gold chrome where there is yellow.
Maybe one day I'll have time to paint one in fabulous metallic red and white to make a Brave Zazorigan!

 

I don't think there will be an Hasbro version, at best Takara will repaint the upcoming titan Scorponok as Black Zarak as an esclusive like they did for Grand Maximus.
Given that canonically Black Zarak is combiner size instead of citybot size the combo Hasbro Scorponok and Maketoys Devil Stinger would be ideal for me, and every time I see deals like this I'm tempted...until I remember that shipping and customs nearly double the price.

 

This is a real nice deal. I got Pandinus years ago at a sale (250 if I remember well) and was crazy happy. The shelf presence the designs gives is great. I had black zarak in the cart since I saw it for 200 yesterday, but space has become so scarce I am not sure if I should pull the trigger.

 

Totally worth it for $200. I have no desire for a Hastak one. Can't say the same for Scorponok. I like having two different molds.

 

I paid for it using PayPal credit, so now I have six months to muster up the $200 via eBay sales

Here’s a custom I did to combine Pandinus and Destroy Scorpion. The other head is still on there. You can keep him transformed the exact stock way if you prefer that look.

 

I love that head from Destruction Scorpion on Pandinus! Might use that extra head from Zeta Superion to do something like this.

Now point the feet down (maybe open the hatches on the feet too ) and lean him against something and you gain 2 -3 inches in height ^^O.

Looks fabulous. Many people forget about the fists option.
