    What was the negativity? From posts and reviews I've heard nearly all positives. Some flaws to paint but otherwise great. Just wondering what flaws I haven't heard about. Though I absolutely agree about overprice and reduction in quality/value - I have their new bumblebee...

    $160?! does it come with a ton of extras? Even if I thought MP47 was better than Gundog—which I don’t —there is no it’s twice as good to justify about twice the price.

    I'm pretty happy with my toy colored Gundog and don't feel a need for Willis or official Hound. Love that Chrome. As for those extra faces, I got a set direct from the Maketoys store, and I agree with @Scourgatron I think they look like total garbage.

    I just got MP Hound. I thought it would make me want to sell Gundog but quite the opposite. While I love the official, it just made me pull Gundog off my shelf to transform him again and remind me of why I love him so much as well. I'm keeping both.

    I'll probably grab a KO of Hound, to have a toon one. Gundog is still the nicer figure. Is GD taller?

    Having seen comparison pics for all three MP Hounds, I got to say Gundog is without a doubt the odd man out as far as looks go. The other two look better to me. The MP wins in cartoon accuracy and articulation (I care for neither), and the FT just looks best to me with his proportions and finish.

    That said, I'm very happy I went with Gundog. He may be bloated with some weird proportions, but I wanted a MP Hound that reminded me of the character (FT and MP does this best), was dark green (only Gundog), had chrome parts (same) and had the iconic toy feet (again, same).

    Plus, he's fun to transform.

    They are the same height. Using the ab crunch along with PELVIC THRUUUUUUST he can be a few mm taller. Which is why he looks like he would be taller in my first pic.

    I paid the late tax when I got my Toon Gundog since I was debating to get the Takara version instead when the prototypes came out. I didn't feel like waiting for more than a year for a Takara version that may have QC issues so I just pulled the trigger on Gundog. Played with him earlier and decided that I made the right choice especially with Takara's huge price tag and QC issues.
