Hmmm. Does anyone have a picture yet of the replacement faces in place?

 

Well I'll do it when I get them in a few days. Maketoys summer sale lasts till the end of August so there's plenty of time for y'all to jump on it.

 

I'm pretty sure there's some pics earlier in the thread. They're not new parts. They were originally released as a freebie bonus with Wrestle (Grapple).

You're not going to find the 2N version outside of eBay or private sales.

 

Someone posted this link above. Says 2N is in stock. I've never dealt with this store personally however.

Yeah they are selling for an arm and a leg. At that price, I might as well get the Takara version.

Yeah I've seen that before. They are the only retailers that have it in stock. Robot Toybase always charges a lot for shipping to US.

 

Overall, I prefer the new head. The expressions do give him a lot more character, especially the chromed eyes. The neck socket is quite tight on the ball, so I added some silicon grease (shock oil should suffice too) to ease the head on. Also filled in the laughing mouth with some panel liner.

 

I was planning to order those with Contactshot from the MT store but maaaaan are they goofy lookin'.

 

Woof, those are way too goofy looking. Taking a pass on this, seeing as how MP Hound is coming...

 

I'm pretty sure your version is much more sought after. You should have no problem.

 

I’d probably be down if you want to, as I really prefer not having chrome. The dark green is super nice though, so I definitely understand the allure. if I could keep the the 2y green and have nonchrome parts that’d probably be my ideal

 

I wasn’t too impressed by the new face sculpts in pics, but this one is a huge improvement in person. Metallic eyes really pop. Looks way more like Hound and less like Donald Trump. Or those enemies from Air Man’s stage in Mega Man 2....the chubby ones that blow wind at you.

 

My less-than-a-week old Gundog took a tumble because this guy rolls too well and the windshield cracked. Have any Gundog owners here dealt with Maketoys or their Seller for aftermarket support?

 

This figure has been out for about 4 years, bro...I'm not sure you'll do very well getting replacement parts.

 

Yeah that's pretty much what Maketoys told me. Does anyone have any Junker Gundog Toon Colors they would like to let go hahaha?
