Were there two different packages of giant? I was looking at ebay (where I got these pics from) and noticed that there were two different styles of inner plastic to hold him in. Did MakeToys use both? The one on the right looks similar to the KO ones I've seen but not exactly, so I was hoping people that have Giant can chime in. I'm not opposed to getting a KO, but not for the price of the original, haha. Edit: Also, the one on the left has the reprolabels on it.
Not that I'm aware of. The picture on the right has the plastic that covers those parts. The one on the left has the spaces where you insert the pieces and the one on the right goes over that.
The one on the right is the one I got from BBTS (official Make Toys) when they re-released him. Not sure if there was a difference btw that one and the original though. Green drum, head was already attached to the body with a slot in the plastic for the spare one.
I also got the KO from the TF-direct sale. He seems pretty good but MixMaster's hip came broken. Someone must have over drilled the screw. I was trying to make a mod on Shapeways that'll make him taller to match the newer Maketoys combiners, but it's going to cost $60 to print lol....

Just heads up, that deal is for a set of loose figures, no packaging. BBTS has the revised version of Yellow Giant in boxset for $350.
Was going through some old files and I totally forgot I was planning to make custom boxes for these guys. This was way back in 2013.
Question for people that own this: Is there a way to extend the thighs to make him a bit taller? I want to get the PE feet sets for all my combiners, but that'll leave them visibly taller then Giant here unless there's a way to make him taller. If so, could someone snap a picture of this?
