    I have a Green and Yellow, Yellow just looks better and feels...right. I sold a new extra yellow set...kind of want to get this now though

    Glorious! I love that head on there. Any idea when pre orders are meant to ship? I'm trying to have them in hand by Botcon to hand deliver them. Was trying to split the cost of shipping since it costs the same to ship one OR two. Just made sense to try.

    Exactly. There's something about this color scheme and this mold that just works so much better than the green and purple. On the other hand, CW Devastator works better in G1 colors. I can't imagine it'd look good in G2 colors. (I've been wrong before, though, so...)

    I do believe. The original Giant usually goes for about $399.99 before shipping.

    Better do it now while you can and there's some kind of market for it. Once this version comes out, people will be exceedingly picky about the modifications and pass over the original.

    True. It has gone up though. In 2012 I bought Green Giant from BBTS for $355. That's kinda too bad.

    Wasn't the original yellow release supposed to be 'special' and limited? Kinda sounds like what's special about it is it's now the least valuable and desirable by far. Sucks to be you, early adopters...you're welcome.

    Well, that's probably why this one uses the green one's mold, and the yellow one's colors. That way they are all different. Still, I'd have rather seen G2 orange, SG or Diaclone, just to make them all completely different.

    It's truly a special edition i.e. it loses all the improvements and chances are you'll need to do some fixes. In other words, it's perfect for the Robots in Distress crowd.

    I'm a proud early adopter of the original MT Yellow Giant - even still with this new release. I feel like I lent a hand in getting their latest releases to launch. The designer is a hell of an artist, and deserves funding for future releases. I look at my Yellow Giant from a different perspective than most I guess. I'll pass on this one, but look forward to Pandinus.

    Well, the figure is being sold right now exclusively through MT's shop. Once it retails outside of their shop, I'm sure the price will go up.
