If anyone is lurking in this thread and still hesitating, PULL THE TRIGGER, ALREADY. You will not regret it.

As for the gun or any other looseness issues, another non-permanent solution is to use a tiny bit of Blu-Tack or poster tack. Its like putty, but with much stronger adhesion.

You can also put a little bit of blue painter's tape on the sides depending on how much added size you need.

You can also plug the barrel in upside down so the hinge is on the top if you don't mind how it looks.

I've got the first run Yellow Giant and no gun issues here.

It's not a HUGE issue, it's just that when messing around with it, it falls down with very little pressure, it doesn't fall down on its own.

Mine pegged in fine, but flopped around when not in gun mode. Took the pin out and used superglue to tighten up the joint.

Been loving Giant except... Bonecrusher doesn't attach to Hook well and certainly doesn't lock into place at all. I've pushed the button, heard the "click" and then rotated the arm up and just slides right out. :(

Is this unheard of? What should I do? I swapped Bonecrusher and Scavenger just to see if it was an issue with Bonecrusher or Hook and sadly, it's Hook.

I'm still thrilled with him but... can I get a replacement Hook somehow? I ordered it from TF Source :(

Thanks guys for the info and advice.

Check again you've attached them correctly. Their should be no more than a few millimeters of the connector joint on bone and scav visible:

And when you rotate the arms forward and back their should be a nice quite firm forward and back motion that sturdily holds its position at each click and the ratchets should be audible.

You sometimes have to compress and decompress the buttons on hook to get the mechanisms to align just right for each side.

Yeah, that's what it looks like until I move the arm up or down. I've messed with the button a few times as well, trying to get it to realign. It looks like the inside piece doesn't move as much as the other socket does.

That sucks, sounds like you may have gotten a hook with some dogey ratchets then.

Keep trying. I thought I had a defective Hook as well. I just kept on trying it and eventually it clicked in. There is a very small tolerance but when it clicks in, it's solid.

+1. Yours sounds very much like I thought mine was ("It looks like the inside piece doesn't move as much as the other socket does"). Mine made me futz around with it quite a bit, but it did settle in.

Yep, was going to come here to report back how it's working now. I guess once things get settled on him he'll be even better, like Scrapper's head. That's a tough one to budge.

I need to apply some Future to a few places but I'm loving this beast so much.

The fact that he can pretty much get into Iron Man's landing pose is..... nuts.
