The butt-hurt is strong with this one. G1 sells exceptionally well. Other stuff.....doesn't.

Cupola is looking reeeeally good. Seems pretty darn animation-accurate. Maketoy's slightly anime-inspired flavor is a good fit for a Japanese G1 figure. And I think they hit the sweet spot for "MP-style surface detail" (in comparison to, say, the overly-detailed Chigurh). Chromedome is my favorite Headmaster, so I'm very excited for this figure. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the QC is good, and that it has the right in-hand feel for an MP figure.

 

Love how they have compensated for grooves small size by building up a boot with hotspots parts

 

Can't wait. This is one of the more exciting things Maketoys has done.

Seeing Maketoys engineering/QC and paint on a larger figure is exciting.

Hopefully because of the size, it will be less fiddly than their smaller bots and combiners.

 

I like my FT Chromey just fine - not sure about the need for this one. I suppose it's the MP enthusiasts who are looking for a proper one to scale with their God, I mean MP Optimus!  

Ugh. I wish there were more CHUG collectors. This MP thing just isn't for me.   The scale is ridiculously big, plus the prices get waaaaaay too high.

Vintage champagne or cheap, domestic beer? Is that what it is to be a TF collector now? (I suppose TomTak releases could be considered premium beer?  )

This figure looks fantastic, I hope they include a sunbow accurate head, ie one with the visors and he'll be bought on site.

 

I always liked the Season "5" intro with Chromedome in it. That image of him racing from a city will always be etched in my head. Looks great, I may have to buy too.

is it me or does this look even bigger than mp-10 and mp-09? looks pretty great however. very accurate bot mode. the alt mode well...isn't great....very toyetic..but its not chigurh shuttle bad.

 

my eyes still can't stop looking at those feet but this one is actually really growing on me

think if i get this he will be standing behind something just high enough to hide the feet

Cupola looks cool, but I am definitely looking more forward to Guardia. I want a Defensor that won't look at Bruticus and not think long lost twin.
