Maybe someone else can remove the head, but I am absolutely not trying it - no visible screws or anything...

@LBock - I wasn’t worried about the visor thing, but having it now and seeing how 2mm would have made such a huge difference, I also wish it went up more.

Overall, this is easily the best overall transforming toy I’ve ever had. All of the joints are rock-solid, looks mean as hell, and the playability with the posing and weaponry possibilities is unreal. I should probably buy another one, I’m gonna wear this dude out by the time Monday rolls around.

One oddball thing - having a bot standing up and his feet have almost a “floating” appearance all the time LoL. Hard getting used to it, as the feet have a slanted portion on the underside, so his toes are never flat. Unless you make a V shape out of his foot and heel piece, anyway. I hope they make an adjustable stand or something, he’s too damn good to be stuck plodding around on the surface anyway!

I can only speak for my copy bit they weren't a tight fit on the shoulder holes like they are on the forearm ones. Between that and they weight of them they just fall out.

This is almost too...”clean” of a look for what I usually collect (mostly IDW and futuristic-looking TFs) - but this is the best figure I’ve ever had in 20 years or so of collecting. Even my girl went “holy SHIT” when I put him together.

Lol There aren’t more than maybe 6-7 figures of theirs I haven’t at least owned for a while. Always liked them, but recently they’ve been making outrageously good figures. This one is off the charts, no clue how they top it.

Would love a better look at the head to see if black version would pass as black shadow. Need the last phase sixer!

Black shadow deserves a new mold that preserves the pretender gimmick in some form, whether a drone or an internal transforming figure

Loving Stealthwing, only minor issue I had was an outer wing needed a couple drops of floor polish for tightening. Now bring on Skywing!

Yup, they're friction only. The larger wings are connected via a mushroom peg joint and that joint ratcheted to the body.

Got this in today, and my copy had some overspray on the visor.
The pieces connecting the arms to the chest seem to pop out of place depending on how you move the arms, but that was present in Kuma's review too, was hoping it was just on his copy and that I wouldn't have been affected by it.

Overall though this figure is HUGE, and the lower half of the bot is built extremely well, and feels solid but is light overall.
The paint apps are gorgeous too. I think this guy will be displayed in alt mode for the Quinjet look.
Overall I think its a great figure, but for some reason I don't feel like this is a Transformer, as it feels more like a Parts former / armor set.

That sucks about the arms. I was hoping it was just Kuma being a little more rough with it for the review

It’s due to the strength/firmness of the shoulders joints. It’s not like it flops apart like a mess, it just untabs - just hold the torso when you gotta crank the shoulders around and it’s all good.

Maketoys seems confident with their release schedule:

March: Metallic Striker Manus, Skywing, MP Dirge
    April: MP Thrust
    May: MP Ramjet

So everything by July 2018, at least by TFCon.

Then it will just be MP Headmaster x2 and MTCD Galvatron.

I'm hoping Roddy sees the light of day this yr though if it's not a prime I'm not interested, actually I only want the sg colored one so the sooner the regular hit the faster I get the one I want

Yup really want a ship carrier trailer for noir and stealth, I wonder how long before someone does a movie bumblebee tow truck scene with legless Skywing lmao
