I love this line and I can't find a thread that's just general discussion/photography/appreciation for it. I started initially collecting CHUG but was dissatisfied with Hasbro and Takara's representation of the characters I loved. After selling off most of my CHUG collection I remembered what originally got me into Transformers collecting; this was JobbyTheHong's Maketoys Thunder Erebus review. I would've appreciated this figure in a CHUG collection but could never get my hands on it. I started collecting a year after the Thunder Manus mold came out and it was sold out everywhere I looked. While looking for it I stumbled across the rest of the Cross Dimensions line and ordered the Striker Manus Premium figure. This figure truly is amazing and the possibility and accessories blew me away. I just got into Gundam at the time so the Japanese robot aesthetic was amazing (and the unbuilt accessories on runners was no problem). I got into the line way after it started so getting my hands on the figures is tough and I try my hardest to avoid KOs.

A few months later I bought Buster Skywing. This was a representation of my favorite G1 character, skyfire, but the figure turned out to be pretty mediocre. He isn't bad by any stretch but he lacked the great things Striker Manus had. Evern through Skywing's flaws it looked great on the shelf next to Premium Manus. It's a shame but Premium Striker Manus came out of the box with a few loose joints so the combined mode is a trainwreck.
I just recently bought a used Rioter Despotron on Ebay (the seller said it was initially bought from TFSource, which I believe because it poses like a champ) and it is pretty spectacular. I would've liked the crazy possibility like Striker Manus but it's defiantly no Buster Skywing. The accessories are totally cool too and you can get a Tarn vibe with all the cannons combined.

I just recently found Thunder Manus + Divine Suit Boxset on RoboToyBase for almost double original price (if including their expensive shipping). This is my first time purchasing from RoboToyBase but I saw some positive words for the site on another TFW board and it seems to be ran by someone pretty trusted in the community. I am so looking forward to receiving the figure that introduced me to Transformers collecting but shipping may take a while as it's coming from Hong Kong (ugh). Since it was a super expensive purchase I won't be getting Divine Shooter for a few months unless it get's a great sale.

Maketoys may be gone and Galactitron may never come out so I don't know the future of this collection. I almost have all 5 of the molds and I'll keep posting updates. I would love to see others' Cross Dimensions collections and displays so feel free to post them here.

I love this line. Thunder Manus and divine shooter I just sold though because the core bot was just so small and it didn’t fit with what I’m going for. As far as the Striker and Rioter I love love love them. You’re right about Buster Skywing until you transform it. I was selling it with no takers so I decided to put it into alt mode. Glad it didn’t sell lol.

 

Love this line. It's the kinda creativity I want to see more of from third party companies.

I haven't given up on Galvatron but it's definitely possible Hot Rod isn't coming.

If your Striker Manus has loose joints you can easily tighten them up with a screwdriver and Future floor polish.

When I first received mine I liked it, but was pretty disappointed with some of the joints, especially the transformation joint in the upper torso because it kept untabbing the whole thing. But after a few months I thought "screw it", took him apart, and tightened all his joints.

Now he's one of my favourites.

 

I dont think it was a figure thats so bas it shouldnt exist but it is def skippable and i totally get why MT originally didnt even wanna do it

The divine suit is more than good enough and it comes with thunder manus

 

I got Premium Striker Manus a few months ago and he was so good I started a 3p chug collection built around him.

Since then I’ve gotten Rioter, Buster Skywing, Planet X Vulcan, MMC Terminus Hexatron, MMC Nero Rex, and Thrilling 30 Springer. I put my Seige figures with them too.

3p chug stuff is beautiful, I wish there was more out there that appealed to me and that 3p would give chug more love.

 

I plan on ordering him in a few months. I think he looks super cool but I won't be surprised if he lacked a lot of great things the line has. I have limited funds because I'm a student and Thunder Manus just set me back so I'll hold off for a while. Definitely not worried he will get sold out.

 

Ha, I got Buster Stealthwing specifically for the alt mode, I couldn't resist the Quinjet-former!  

I seriously hope they still give us Galvatron, that thing looked totally badass!

Don’t buy divine shooter! He’s useless because Thunder Manus already has the armor and trailer. Unless you want to spend that money on the bot mode.

 

haha I'm aware they do the same job. I want to display armored Manus with Divine Shooter bot mode because I loved them from Masterforce.

Use the screwdriver for threatening Striker Manus that if he doesn't tighten up, he's going to end up on the Planet of Junk, and the Future for actually fixing the joints.

I wanted to like the mmc stuff but the idw aesthetic doesn’t appeal to me. All I have left is Megatron from that line and op from Toyworld. I’m bummed that this line didn’t do well enough for us to get that Galvatron
