Looks nice, but still black or nothing for me.

 

I apologize for being late to the party here but I'm really confused about something. It appears that this Godbomber figure is $90, but there's a box set that includes Thunder Manus as well for $125, essentially making Thunder Manus just a $35 additional figure. Am I right about this, or are there differences between the box set one and this figure?

 

Thunder Manus comes with parts for godbomber armor. That’s what you’re seeing. This is a separate transformable god bomber figure that can also combine with Thunder Manus.

 

So the boxed set godbomber parts only form the armor but not a separate figure? That's kinda lame, isn't it?

 

Looks very nice, too bad I don’t collect in that scale.

 

They form the armor and can be assembled into a trailer. I thought the parts were kind of lame, others like the parts and think releasing a seperate figure afterward is kind of lame since you kind of end up with two godbombers. I think they should do a new release of Thunder Manus just by himself without the God Bomber parts. Might help them sell more Divine Shooters.

 

Well, it was never advertised as a separate figure, only as an armor included with thunder manus.

 

this whole situation makes no sense, like this is the worse MT decision i've ever seen, i guess they're do for some serious mistakes after some serious success but damn

 

Not at all as it's pretty much just sold for the price of a single figure and gives you the option for both a God Ginrai and Godbomber on display for the price of two figures? I think it's pretty damned awesome tbh.

 

I don't think its lame. I prefer the armor bits. I have no interest getting Godbomber. Options are a good thing.

 

Why?

 

As someone who doesn't care about Godbomber as a character, I'm happy I can have the armor without needing a separate figure.

 

As someone who pre-ordered God-Bomber and was thinking it would be out two months ago, I'm getting impatient...  

 

i want god bomber as much as i wanted armada overload(i did purchase him), his importance is only for what and how he can enhance prime

 

I think the last several posts illustrate that Make Toys really knew what they were doing with this whole thing. The majority seem to only be interested in God Bomber as enhancement parts for prime, and that’s what the Thunder Manus release already is. Behind them are people like myself who really want God Bomber as an individual figure because they like the character. Following that are people who will enjoy having a GB-armored up Ginrai next to God Bomber himself.

They seem to be aiming to satisfy multiple different desires, which is really cool. So for those of you waiting for a black Divine Shooter, I wouldn’t worry about it. It would be really out of character for Make Toys to NOT make that toy.

I know how people feel, I had to look at pics of the black Thunder Manus for months while I waited for the standard version to come out.
