Nobody bats at eyelash at characters who were repaints of other characters turning up as repaints of that character. I'm much less keen on making characters who weren't repaints originally repaints, and to be frank as much as I loved Rioter Despotron this Shockwave isn't doing it for me.

...yeah.

 

I was about to give up on the idea of anything more for the CD line, Maketoys drops this nugget.

 

I should clarify that I would prefer Shockwave getting his own mold but I feel like this is a fine compromise. Hell it worked for the Studio Series line.
Whatever it takes for the Cross Dimension line to keep going.

I'm really wanting to see this guy in color. I hope they do something FOC-y with the abdomen area and have a sort of pink under-glow in all those crevices.

 

I hope he comes with a whole bunch of extra weapons like noir did.

I wish MT would do miscellaneous weapons packs that are compatible with CD and mainline figures. I would be in for some of that. I think it would be low risk on their end too.

 

Yeah I don't mind the remold but I want some value add for all the saved engineering. Also want to see it in color.

After reading the thread, I noticed that It's kinda quiet here..
I bought a Rioter Despotron in the summer and am very happy with the purchase.
I sincerely hope that this Shockwave is not canceled...

 

At this point I think the general consensus is that Maketoys no longer makes toys.
