Oh yes, you're entirely right, it's just quite stiff first try. My bad! And thanks!
So I just got my buster stealthwing in, and I noticed one of my arm joints isn't completely working. I suspect its the metal pin the moves the arm panel, since its slightly mis-aligned, but I wanted to check here about what the problem is and how I might be able to fix it myself. Thanks in advance!
This guy would look great with the MFT Diaclone KOs.
Must... resist... must!
Resistance is futile.
Boy, I was thinking of getting this guy to go with the premium Striker Manus I just ordered but after reading all the issues and seeing the pain of the transformation in videos, it looks like the fun factor is pretty low and I’m gonna pass. Damn.
It's not bad after the first time. Just like sex. Awkward, a little confusing, and you're having all sorts of emotions, but once it's done? It's amazeballs.
I forgot he had his own thread.
Here we go:
Was messing around with mine the other day. Thought I broke him when I rotated the wings and they popped off with a horrible sound. The screws didn't like all that torque.
He looks good in bot and jet.
I've taken to calling him Sky Shadow, which (after looking up the name) is pretty apt. As Sky Shadow is really an undercover Jetfire.

What do you think of the new Batwing, Clark?
Looks slow, Bruce.
Don't remember seeing anyone do this, but I may be wrong.
The other combined mode.
Not as stable as I'd like. Still looks cool. Wings and guns able to go down behind the back would've been nice for balance and looks.
Finally picked this guy up. First TF in years, and am not disappointed. Love the heft, relatively easy transformation, and he feels rock solid. I actually don’t believe it, but I like him more than Striker Noir! Took a buttload of pics, will thumbnail most.
Really tempted to get this guy, does anyone have any pics to see how he looks with some of the official collaborative figures?
It’s currently available on sale for notably less than original price at TCP:
MakeToys MTCD-05SP BUSTER STEALTHWING
this is literally a thread full of pictures of this figure.
That one stings a bit, I had forgotten Black Friday was so close and ordered and shipped it last week
Also, notice I was asking about pics specifically with the Collaborative figures (Ectotron, Gigawatt, Maverick, X-Spanse, etc etc) which I really haven't seen many of, even searching through the thread.
Aha, I literally have no idea what any of those are. Thought you mean the ones he could combine with - the MT Striker Manus mold.
Nope, the Collaborative figures are official crossover figures made by Hasbro. Ectotron is the Ecto-1, Gigawatt is the Back to the Future Delorean, X-Spanse is the X-Men Animated series Blackbird, JP93 is the Jurassic Park Ford Explorer and Maverick is the F-22 from Top Gun. Figure Stealthwing, who turns into a Quinjet, would look pretty cool with this group of figures.
Sorry to resurect a dead thread, but I just picked up Stealthwing and Skywing from TCP, today....almost 50% off. Is there anything I should know?
Gosh darn it, that's a great price for a figure I've always had an eye on. But TCP charges $50 to ship to Canada?? Kind of wipes out the good deal...
Not sure if it's necessary or not but I put silicone oil on all the ratchet joints. They are just friction ratchets not spring ratchets and if I remember correctly they start to wear down over time.
Bit of a pain in the ass transformation, and flimsy feeling plastic, but overall this guy goes amazingly well with the official crossover figures
I just recieved Skywing and Stelthwing. I shouldn't have waited soo long to get these bots, their excellent!! But i'm not using them in the rols they were meant for....they will be Decepticons. Jet equivalent of Runabout and Runamuck.
