I've been looking at the Make Toys Rear End set (Tailgate) and I'm curious to know if anyone thinks it's a good set to get.

I have never bought a 3rd party figure before but I think this might be a good choice for a first pick. Any help is great!

Its a fantastic set, the parts go on great for the deluxe cyclonus (though the sword is very tight in his new hands) and Rear himself is one of the best mini bots to date.

I’d love this figure… and Maketoys Trash Talk… but I started collecting too late and missed the boat on these. Now they’re difficult to find and command stupid prices for each set… even more stupid if you only want one of the figures. I can’t justify 80 quid on one of these, when for the same money I can get a Seeker or a Seacon or a Constructicon, and have change.

It's good. Very good. The add on parts for Cyclonus are good as well.

Yep. If you love MTMTE/IDW, this guy is an amazing treat.

    Much better than Hasbro's effort.

It's very good. Fantastic rendition of the character, very well done, and some great accessories. Yup, can't go wrong. Love him.

I think Rearend is not as polished as Trashtalk. I think he is a little fiddly and loose in the legs, unlike Trashtalk who is solid all the way around.

I would hope that a 60 dollar figure would be a better effort than a 10 dollar one.

To answer the OP I like it very much. Though if I hadnt gotten it for Christmas I'm not sure I would have dropped the 60 dollars myself. Seems a bit pricey for a legends size figure

Pretty nice looking figure - not sure it fits in my collection though and came out way before I was collecting...

If you have the money, do it. Tailgate is a fun little figure. A close second behind Make Toys Swerve.

Yeah. I would also hope haha xD

But he isn't legends scale - scales perfectly with large chug/voyages scaled figures. Scales with his buddy MT Swerve as well :)
