Who do you think will be the main villain of TF4. I gotta go with Lockdown just because we have seen so much of him while Galvatron will... I have no clue.
I reckon towards the end we will see the true Galvatron emerge, bay wouldn't use such a big name in TF lore (which btw if recent interviews are to believe he has done his homework about the tf franchise) and not give him a big role. Maybe not in AoE, as i said towards the end maybe, but in TF5 and 6 im sure he will play a huge part.
Lockdown. Galvatron is either going to be cannon fodder or is being set up for a bigger role in the next movie.
Lockdown, but something is telling me Galvatron will live and will be in TF5. There is something about him because we haven't seen him in that many TV Spots.
From what we've seen it seems it definitely going to be lockdown and galavtron will either die or be set up for the TF5 villain. Unless they pull a shockwave which im doubting at this point.
I would love Lockdown to be the villain and survive, while leaving it a cliffhanger with Galvatron gaining consciousness. Though keep away from the Megs personality and make him unique.
Much like sentinel prime of DOTM, theres more to Galvatron then meets the eye. his toy bio, the lack of his presence in ANY TV spots besides the scene where Lockdown comes, they are hiding him and Stinger because they both are major plot points, we already know Lockdown's intentions are to capture Optimus for an unknown enemy but why include the whole humans creating transformers bit to the plot? This movie is all over the place and its definitely not gonna be as predictable as we suspect it to be. We have multiple events going on that make this movie look like its just advertising for two different movies. I love how confusing everything is, I just know this movie will be one of the best movies of 2014.
i agree.. plus, i think it was said that his ship/employers will provide hints to the overarching story for this trilogy. now, galvatron could be involved in that, but who knows. he does look great in the spots that we've seen, so i certainly wouldn't mind it.
Depends on what you define as main villain. If it's the baddie who is in most of the picture going around and doing stuff, the main threat, then it will be Lockdown. If it's the ultimate baddie in the picture, the one that is the biggest threat at the end and survives til the next film, it will be Galvatron. Of course the real villain is whoever hired Lockdown, unless it turns out to be some lazy Decepticons, in which case they're just nothing more than reserve fodder for the next picture or two.
I doubt they would just waste Galvatron in this movie when they already have an interesting villain like Lockdown. He'll probably gain sentience but most likely at the very end, almost as a cliffhanger.
i wouldn't mind that.. but they'd have to do it in a way that makes him a threat for the next movie. it can't just be him gaining sentience, it has to be him with revenge on his mind or something that would lead us to believe that he has some sort of way to defeat prime or successfully rule earth. but yeah, that wouldn't be a bad idea.. perhaps it ends with lockdown dying, galvatron gaining sentience and being recruited by lockdowns employers or .. unicron.
I knew there was a reason i loved the boards xD I honestly don't think he will die, Injured maybe, but not dead. Someone has to let his masters know he has failed (which lets face it and not kid ourselves, he will) Maybe his masters might kill cause of that, but i don't think it will be Optimus or the Dinobots.
