Next design: Wheeljack!

 

I’ve also got a bunch of Wheeljack head designs. I remember I started these after his ROTB toy leaked and I was mad that there was no attempt to make him look anything like Wheeljack. I wanted to make a bunch of designs that were unique and interesting, while still actually being recognizable as the character they represented.

 

Great work. As much fun as digital can be, it's nice to see someone using paper sometimes too. There's a tactile feel to the end result, even when you're seeing it on a screen.

I actually started the sketches last summer, and then I made the half exoskeleton/half endoskeleton drawing just recently.

 

This is honestly incredible. I really like leg 3, but man does leg 1 look good!

 

Here's this Cyclonus drawing I made I think about 3 years ago. That one digital Megatron piece was actually made after I did this one, since I really enjoyed making it.
I also hid Unicron in the background but I haven't been able to find a higher quality version so he's difficult to see.

 

Alright, here's my first design after the cleanup!

 

I've always imagined ironhide as an old beat up pickup with Texas plates and a lift kit. This works remarkably well! I like the incorporation of bayverse Ironhides huge arm cannons

Fantastic stuff, The line art is so intricate, but you can still tell it's done by hand, something I especially appreciate. Still, I think I love that closeup on Cyclonus the most, love how it still has a bit of Marvel DNA it it, you can still easily tell it's Cyke while having those monstrous vibes you'd expect form the herald of a planet eating entity.

 

I've reworked my Ironhide design into one for Ratchet, with two different color schemes since I couldn't decide which I liked better

 

I decided I didn't love the gold on the blue version, so I desaturated it a bit

 

Here's something I've been working on for quite a while: Scourge!

 

That's an incredible interpretation of the character
