While I do like the accurately detailed gas tanks on his back, I hope they remold them as smooth because it doesn't look good in truck mode. If I have to choose between slightly noticeable inaccurate tanks on his back, or very noticeable inaccurate tanks in truck mode, I'll take the inaccurate bot mode tbh

That reminds me, I don’t recall seeing anyone post a nice back view of Prime’s ILM model for comparison:

Yeah. So far only UT and BA had done it. If they add it then it'll look more premium.
If they go with electroplating than I think it should be fine but that's too much to ask for honestly
Just noticed that the robot mode has a full circular tank but the truck mode has only half of it. Curious how it transforms

Agreed. Chrome or bust. Speaking of which, I still absolutely adore my Buster Optimus Prime.

Optimus, Dreads and the rarely seen Brawn in one pic. Definitely needs the chrome.

You know what?... Black Apple has been my primary Optimus all of these years. I guess I have looked at it too often!

Also, I was referencing this pic.

    That looks pretty good!

Though, as far as accuracy goes for, my choice goes to this single custom DLX, it goes around 1000USD in dino model shop if anyone is interested lol.

Not sure if anybody here can contact MM and pass them up this for reference, both in color and sculpt.

Thank you; yea that still can be deceiving as his movie appearances show otherwise
WE HAVE BEEN FED FALSEHOODS BY HASBRO. WE MUST RISE ABOVE OUR MASTERS

Truly a thing of beauty! Looks exactly like you’d expect an accurate Optimus would

Pretty sure we're talking about the same custom, even though the paint job looks a bit different across different sources: Dino Model Shop on Instagram: "Dlx Optimus upgrade kit design by Scream design deposit open!! Dotm and ROTF ver sell separately, both options available for preorder - Unpaint unassemble ver kit ( not included body frame, can use dlx or mc003 body frame, including frame decal - Paint full figure, paint by SF studio, with leds eyes, dotm ver including cannons dm me if you are interested For more product follow @dino_model_shop - - #optimusprime #Transformers #transformerstoys #變形金剛 #transformersG1 #masterpieces #custombuild #actionfigures #autobots #decepticons #toystagram #repaint #bumblebee #megatron #toyphotogallery"

The price according to Dino_Model_Shop is 700 USD for the ROTF version and 720 USD for the DOTM version, and 340 for the all the unpainted upgrade parts (frame not included).

This is the only review up on the Scream DLX custom as far I as know:

You know... As much as I love how accurate the robot more is for this, I'm seeing a lot of inaccuracies for the truck more now. The open front of the step box under the doors, the robot mode details on the gas tanks, the lack of that little bump along the hood that follows behind the raised hood ornament, the missing central running light on the roof of the cab.... I get that they said they're going for robot mode accuracy, but something as small as the central light on the top of the cab could be as easy as it folding under the roof for robot mode to keep the accuracy for both, and they could have mimicked the BA idea for how the weapons store into the gas tanks to hide those added robot mode details...

And then there's the way that the back is lining up compared to the movie model. While it's REALLY close, it's still slightly off. This could easily be due to where parts line up for transformation, though.

do not fret; @BIOMEC already forwarded some of the alt mode inaccuracies and proposed some corrections. Now it's just up to MM to act on it
