For DLC they do take their sweet time with them. Industry standard is day one release.

Been that way since before it released. $70 DLC pack and a bonus $20 fix pack.

I guess it will be a while before they ever do a ROTB version, if we ever get one from them

Got my update kit today. Well, the price is good but it's not a must have. You can live without it, it's not necessary for the figure. The double joint is horrible when is not collapsed. The arms are better painted than the original, more silver weathered but one thing that I liked a lot, now is easier to change the shoulder pads, not tight like the original ones.

Thanks for the post. I've been on the fence about whether to get the upgrade kit and I'm thinking I'll probably skip it.

I just installed the arm kit on my figure today and noticed some tolerance issues.

The original arms were very firm at the shoulder joint, but the new ones are much looser. The left shoulder was too loose to hold its own weight until I made the screw really tight. The right one was a fair bit better, but not a firm as the original ones.

Additionally, the new back panels were so loose that there isn't even any real click when putting them onto the ball joints. They are held on fine in robot mode by the other connection points, and I gave them some Kiki Joint Fixer, so hopefully that will make them more firm, but it would be nice if it didn't need fixes.

Overall I'm happy with the improvements this kit gives, but I'm a bit let down by the poor tolerances, particularly given how premium this figure is overall.

Has anyone else had these issues, or is it just my copy?

Anyone else not actually installing the new arms? I bought them just incase I do want to sell it someday and it would be complete. I'm just so satisfied with how it looks now 1000011404.jpg

This pose is more natural with the kit. This Prime is the epitome of transforming figures, but BA Prime is the epitome of the source of issues. :lol

Has anyone done a extensive retooling or a paintjob of MM-01 before that could accommodate Threezero's energon armblades from the ROTB mold? I don't like MM's blades from the "upgrades".
    Minor/Repaint: - MM-01 ROTB Optimus Prime

Somewhere here is the perfect balance of Bee Optimus with the grit and armaments of ROTB Optimus.

Wait. Why did this guy get new arms? Is something wrong with the old arms? Am I sitting on a ticking time bomb if I don't get the new arms?
