I am looking for a Takara Magmatron since mine broke. I noticed the South Korea version is there any differences? Are these KO's? I miss my Magmatron
Sonokong toys were made on license from Takara for the South Korean market. They are as official as official gets. There aren't any differences that I know of. You might even be able to get away with a Beast Machines Magmatron if you just want to repair yours.
Thanks! I cant seem to find a BM for cheap and no one in the Junkion forums that have it return my PM's
I've read somewhere the Sonokong version feels slightly cheaper. I've had both versions & haven't really noticed any difference.
i do have both versions. there is a slight difference in the two. the japanese version is a lot more glossy then the american version. however, if you, he, just wants a the toy again, just pick up the beast machines version. you can probably find it for cheaper. hell; i take that back. buy the Beast Wars Neo Big Convoy Vs. Magmatron DX-05 korean version instead. i found it on ebay apparently for only 50 bucks.
Yeah, go for the vs. Set if youre going to buy new. Theyre cheaper and generally pretty common. As far as sonokong, i have quite few of the brave releases. Theyre identicle to the jp releases sans packaging and are a good alternative.
Yeah, I really can't find any differences between the Japanese and Korean versions for many of the figures. Case in point - I paid a lot of a Japanese Gaogaigar and could hardly find any differences with the Korean version. But then again I'm not really an expert so I could miss out on some differences.
