    It could be, i don't know who any of the designers are but as i said i have a feeling the unique toys palm collection designer is behind some of these.

    As far as I'm concerned, this company IS NOT around until they bring one or two successful market figures. The designs look good but we have to see how the production pans out.

    I would love if they are easy Transformations so I can let my son do them. He was able to transform the OS Megatron scope that turns into Lazerbeak so these figures might work out. Just hate not being able to let him transform the 100 dollar plus 3p MPs.

    That is a great way to introduce your kids to the Transformers G1 show. Show the episodes and then give these easy to transform (hopefully) legends toys that look pretty much like the show characters to play with.

    @Trikeboy , nice digibash.

    He loves G1 but I rarely let him watch and I hand pick the episodes. It's a tad violent for his age but they are great shows so that's exactly what I'm hoping for with these toys since he will see more episodes as the years go on.

    How old is he? My five year old sat and binge watched S1-2. He loved it. Wasn't a big fan of 3 and up.

    He LOVES Real Ghostbusters, too.

    At lease these aren't Legends+ size. Those guys just irritate me. These look to be perfect with DX9 and Iron Factory and Shapeshift Inc.

    Agreed, the only ones that could be passable in Legends+ are the DX9 Dinobots.

    ...yeah, hot soldiers ironhide is literally the same size as the original diaclone: it’s a shame because he’s a wonderfully-designed figure, too...

    ...i mean, yeah, there’s probably an untapped market for modern interpretations to mix in with a vintage G1 collection, but i don’t think that was mech planet’s intent; i think they just went after the bigger=better mentality which really isn’t compatible with an extant legends collection...

    ...i really want to see some magic square production samples in-hand!..

    Which really confused me -- they billed their line as a continuation of the Hybrid Series and then came out with a Soundwave bigger than Hybrid Optimus as their first figure! Cool figure to be sure, but "hybrid"-scaled? Nein.

    So color me extremely grateful to IF and now MST, who seemed to have picked up the ball from DX9 and are running wild with it. Bring on Inferno, hopefully in some sweet retro packaging!

    With this Trailbreaker tempting me into this line, I'm gonna need a Ratchet and Ironhide as well. Thinking the DX9s will be too small and the Mech Planet versions will be too tall.

    Yeah, I agree. To me, MST is making the true continuation of the Hybrid series, although, I doubt they will have the same build quality. Well, that is how I'm going to justify buying two different sets of Legends scaled figs :D

    These guys would look great with DX9's WIP line. Wish they were a little lower in price though.
