I too think that MS Megatron looks way better in hand but i also think that his chest is far from perfect. No TT Arcee situation here yet
overall way cleaner than MP-36, and this is coming from someone who loves the somewhat messy Frankensteinian MP-36.
I don't know if i'm comparing apples with oranges but still, i'd love to see MS Megs in MP scale as i'd love to see this new MS OP in MP scale...

If they ever upscale it, maybe they will refine it.

This is by far the best out there when it comes to share presence just standing there.
Think Optimus V2 will fit nice with him.
Seems like he is just a little bit bigger so it should reach the same height as Megatron now.
My planning is very easy, the V1 is now in my main collection, the jinbao prime is in a seperate display with MFT Orion Pax and when V2 comes, V1 will go in to alt mode.
The benefit of not going all in on every mold made or get every repaint, V2 is very welcome over here even tough I just got the V1 reissue

I actually like the headlights and some other areas of the V1 better than the V2 so this is a good plan!

For me there is room for multiple displays with these legends since I do not collect anything else.

Not an update. Just a comment. Sry. I don't know if it has been said but I feel this figure will be a 2022 release. Considering how busy magic square has been this year. I believe I heard that their devastator sets will be out by the end of the year. They have pumped out quite a bit of product. This prime looks amazing and looking forward to this and devy most.

yeah, I’m blown away by MST’s productivity in the last year. They’ve put out so many figures, it’s unfathomable.

3d printing progression allows small, nimble companies to operate at breakneck speeds, changing processes within large companies like TT is a task in itself which will take years.

I’ve tried to ignore this figure as I have v1 but this version does look awesome. Ive got myself across the line by realizing that v1 & v2 can be representations of animation errors, many of which occurred as we all know. I’m also picturing a stand-off between this and the inevitable Nemesis & SG repaints which would look amazing with this mound :)

No plans to dump mine either. I've wondered if they might do a variation on their Magnus armor specifically for Prime. Without Hi-Q it wouldn't really be Powermaster Optimus but it could still be neat.

Regardless I'm going to hang onto him. But I'm an Optimus hoarder, so...

Prime v1 ain't going nowhere, he's just a too good figure, but v2 is on another level.
To me, MS can take their sweet time producing v2, I'll be enjoying Light of Justice in the meantime :thumb

Just hoping the materials and tolerances are top notch for this. I guess I can always get new age prime but I really like the curves and how natural this guy looks

No loose joints? Ball joints are fine, those can be tightened, but loose pin joints suck

Same here, V1 is not going anywhere.
When you have been looking at the OS version of the DX9 for almost 2 years, MS V1 is much better.
V2 when it comes out will go in the main group set up but with these legends I have more then enough space for multiple displays, little group set ups etc.
