Looking great! I’m still a bit confused on the actual release plan for these. Voice Ripple should be fairly close as we’ve seen color production samples. He’s coming with two cassettes? Will there be cassette minions released in two packs? Three packs?

The info was from their China distributor, don't think it was mentioned on their Weibo yet.

Will update once we have some clarity on the cassettes.

But ya, the guess is the ones that don't come with Soundwave / Soundblaster will be sold separately.

The photos shown on social media so far seem to suggest Rumble and Laserbeak will be one of the first cassettes coming out.

It's a matter of price. B27 MSRP is 208 yuan (US$29.32), and B27B is 188 yuan (US$26.50).

At these prices, I find it hard to imagine all the tapes will be included.

i dont think those prices are correct. not that they couldn't be trying to use this bot as an entry piece for new fans. i just think soundwave will be around 45 given his size and what not.

 

That's the MSRP in China.

MS-B18, Optimus Prime with his trailer, was about 200 - 220 yuan, so it's in the ballpark.

Soundblaster looks sharp. They all look great. I can't wait to replace my dx9 stuff with this.

Not surprised to hear the tapes are split up. It's what I've always expected. That SB only comes with one seems a little questionable though. He'll likely have the same packaging as SW, so I can't imagine why he wouldn't come with two too.

I can't wait to get my hands on one and start filling in the tape ranks though.

 

Yeah, I think I actually prefer the soundblaster here. Am waiting to see how the articulation is before I look to pick him up though. And I still really like the dx9 one - it doesn’t look amazing, but has a lot of other great qualities.

To the brim of Otimus's helmet, the tops of the triangles in the MST Seeker's shoulder intakes, and a whole cm taller than MST Blaster. Cool, except we're gonna need a bigger Blaster.

Totally not cool. As someone that got hosed on Starscream's coronation set, I hate to think of what trying to get all 6 or 7 (if they do Buzzsaw) of the cassettes will entail.
