ack! the head / face is showing again through the chest in alt-mode just like their Blaster. i would have thought that they have addressed this issue, albeit minor, already.

 

His black does look to have a smoother, glossier surface/finish than the MS's other figures (Bluestreak excluded), especially in the Youtube video.

It's really annoying that both MS and NA are coming out with the same characters at the same time, and both takes are different enough and good enough that it's easy to justify getting both. I've mostly been getting NA thus far, but I got the MS Reflector not long ago and like it a lot; the NA Reflector is due out soon, and it... looks really neat as well? I wish I had lower standards and/or any willpower at all, like just a drop of it.

 

if you watch the vids he does have a certain semi gloss/satin sheen going on. not the spray on type either this was molded differently. im all for the change and cant wait to see if they continue it.

 

Well na is likely to do all repaints, including clear and a marvel one, while no news have mentioned such for soundwave. So buy marvel out of na, and soundblaster or soundwave out of magic square. Heck, throw in iron factory's oundwave for three different molds for each.

On Optimus? It's a combination of the backward tilt they posed his torso with, and his head being on the back half of his chest.
