@Thighvastator , @poor man is correct. initial limited first run of metallic came with laserbeak. some of us bought soundblaster and sold it just to get at laserbeak, like myself. only to find out much later that we could have bought and kept the metallic version instead. which i also did.   it was a very sour point at the time for many who were trying to collect the full set of cassetticons.

When I started getting into MS and got the Laserbeak-less metallic version (second batch?) people told me the only way to get Laserbeak was to buy a Soundblaster. I managed to find one a dude in Hong Kong was selling. I'm a fan of The Headmasters anyway, so it was an instant buy.

Now that more and more people down here have been getting into MS I've been getting local offers for my Soundblaster, understandably because they wanted Laserbeak, some of them quite crazy. But I see no reason to sell because I really like the idea of a black Soundwave lol.

 

This paint is so much better. Even if we get a reissue I'll be pissed if it's not the metallic version. Why did they have to do so limited numbers?

tapes went up on the website but sold out really quickly. Hopefully they are able to do another restock like they did with cosmos and reflector. I’m honestly glad even if it’s just soundwave himself. He’s going for around $100 loose on the aftermarket pretty consistently

I’m sure the tapes were bought up by resellers/scalpers to get their 200% profit.  

 

Are we sure the tapes were available, I think they upload them out of stock and will make them available in the coming days.

 

Hopefully That’s the case. If this new soundwave doesn’t come with rumble or Auto scout then the tapes team is gonna be a necessity

 

I’m excited to see how the A repaint colors look. I’m hoping for the darker color scheme of the M version but with the standard matte finish.

 

Did they ever make laser beak available again? I've only seen the 4 tape group, and the sound ripple re-release, but neither of those sets have laser beak!

 

I thought MS-B28 only came with these 4?

So you still would still be missing laserbeak, rumble and the autoscout even if you got the upcoming reissue + the tapes team.
