I liked that NewAge showed more variations of theirs - blue Bluestreak and Alternators Shockwave in particular.

Awesome stuff. The NA Datsuns look a little stumpy proportion-wise to me (although it might just be the downward angle of the photo), so it's MST FTW at the moment -- even though the apparent duck face on Smokescreen is a cause for concern (MST face sculpts always make me nervous)! Then again, it might give me an excuse to double dip! :D

Ok, i am thinking 1 or 2 Magic Square, and then maybe 1 or 2 New Age.

So maybe for Magic Square, Prowl and Smokescreen, and then for New Age, Blue Blustreak and Shockwave...

Not sure i am overdoing it though. So might alternatively do 1 of each...

So do I but IMO Magic Square wins overall. Just look at NA legs.

Magic Square is showing no signs of slowing down with these G1 legends scale releases. I wish 3P and official Takara MP releases were this aggressive.

Wow, they did great on these head sculpts. Much better than Sideswipes.
The heads from the Newage version look a bit off from what I've seen. Both are great options though. I definitely appreciate that they each have subtle diferrences. If both sets are about the same size I may mix them with each other

Up for pre-order as a set of three on TFSource due in May. $75.00 for all three versus $30.00 for the NewAge Prowl.

NewAge Prowl is also up for pre-order, but according to TFSource ships in February.

Selling then as a set will likely knock them out of contention for me, I really just want Prowl.

Nice. I love a good gift set. Based on MS's average pricing, this is basically getting three figures for the price of two.

Guess I'm going for Newage then. There are waaaay too many products coming right now to drop a full $75 on this set. I'm only after Prowl. Besides, I had intended to mix the 2 companies so they wouldn't all be the same mold.

I appreciate it being a better deal. MS likes repaints so I am guessing Bluestreak will eventually be sold in his diaclone blue color scheme at some point.

If NewAge and MS had released these a year or two apart I probably would have double dipped.

I might pick up blue Bluestreak from NewAge and hope that they have a repaint of Smokescreen planned in TFPrime colors or Alternators colors.

May is soooooo far away. Sigh. But $25 per is a better price and better figure so I'm just gonna mark down a preorder and wait

Seeing as I was only going to spring for Prowl and Smokescreen, a three pack is essentially giving me Silverstreak for free. I'm pre-ordering Bluestreak from IF. If I double dip, it'll be to wait and see which Prowl is better, Hot Soldiers or NA (too big or too little, haha.)

But yeah, sweet deal on the three pack.
