No but MS did, I have it, and I don't see the need to buy it again. The MS Huffer is the same size or larger than new age prowl.
I'm not buying another set of figures again because some company decided to make their own scale if I can avoid it and there are perfectly fine alternatives.
I didn't spout off negativity I said it was too small for my collection, I even said new age had great figures, but for MY collection their diatsuns are too small. I plan on getting their Seekers and have some of their other figures like bumblebee. If anyone is spouting negativity here it's you. Read the posts more carefully before you call someone negative.
Not everyone is going to like every figure for their personal collection. But make sure they actually say something negative about the figure before you accuse them of doing so.

that hard roof line just kills everything cool about this alt mode.

some small little tweaks could have made this amazing. especially since the roof is nothing morw than a backpack here. it is a shame they didnt think about it during the rendering stage or the first protos.

this is my preferred bot height and all that cool stuff.

 

The virtually flat sides of the car don’t do the alt mode a great service either. NA are the clear winners if you care a lot about the alt mode. In a perfect world I’d like both but I lean harder on a bot mode I can live with.

I would so love for MST and NA to team up.

I more just wish MS would take cues from NA and improve the plastic and get really good paint apps.

 

Anyway, I’m happy to see some new offerings from MST getting further along in production. I really dig the robot modes here, but the alt mode of one of my favorite cars in history is just not hitting the mark. There’s a reason I own six from NA.

Would love to see some movement on the Stunticon front, but if the Datsuns are released in the first quarter of 2020 I guess that’s something. I’m mostly excited for Reflector, Soundwave, & the cassettes from MST.

 

Haha, yup agree with your post. NA Datsuns are beautiful and the alts are perhaps the best alts in legends scale. Not to say the bot modes aren’t beautiful too, they are.

And yup, as far as MS is concerned definitely more excited for the things NA isn’t doing, especially Soundwave and those cassettes. Can’t wait for those to drop, I hope it’s not another year.

What he said. Hollow legs are an instant no (otherwise I would have spent the large sum required to get Perfect Effect's Reflector trio), so I'm delighted to see the tiny amount of effort required to cover them being expended here.

Also don't really care about the door tips. What I would like to see instead is better, less clompy feet. Still, these seem a little less clompy than New Age's (although not by much).

Hey they painted the hubcaps, finally. Nice looking bot, but yeah, although they're consistent on their aesthetic with the alt modes, I don't love the square/flat lines in car mode, just like I don't love Hoist and Trailbreaker's MS alts. Given that the cartoon had a tendency to put curves in funny places sometimes, I'm not sure why they couldn't compromise a little on the roof.

Anyhoo, given that I have all the NA datsuns now, I'll be waiting to see how the other two come out.. I think it's no coincidence Bluestreak is the first one shown, the others traditionally have a lot more paint or decal work which MS hasn't done until now, so I'm curious to see what they've decided on. My guess is the paint will be only the minimum, with no decals or numbering, for the super toon look.

 

Figures, I finally gave up and bought newage Harry. Got it yesterday and wake up to this. Harry is really awesome, but yeah too small. He's too fun to get rid of but I will be getting these as well

 

Now I wonder which MS will release first

 

I hope so, that's just what I want (and why I buy Magic Square's toys).
