I'm really disappointed with the lack of wingtips and the squareness of the alt mode.

I think I'll be sticking with New Age for cars.

New age looks great, but they are just too small compared to the rest of my legends collection

Huffer shouldn't be the same size or bigger than them

Looks way better than Newage in bot mode, but I'm worried it might be too big.
This looks to be about 9cm, but at 1:54 scale (MS Optimus's scale) shouldn't it stand at 7.4cm?

And wouldn't you just freakin' know it, I broke down and ordered NA Bluestreak TODAY!

    Oh well. :lol

Anyway, this doesn't hold a candle to NA's alt-mode or headsculpt, but man oh man do I love me those non-stumpy proportions! (And that goes for the blaster too.) I think it's going to be MST (w/NA headsculpt) in bot mode and NA in perma-car mode (helps that the alt-modes are the same size!)

Well if it helps, newage is smaller than magic square. There's also the other 3p Datsun that's the same size as magic square.

NA is smaller in bot-mode, but they're the same size in alt-mode. So you can always double dip and keep one in alt-mode! :D

i never get how the alt mode dimensions of NA, Toyworld, and Magic Square are the same but NA ends up smaller in bot mode? is it with the length of the limbs? is there an unknown or magical mass displacement happening here?

The wheels are better than expected but not great so yes NA wins on alt mode. But I care more about bot mode and these are, for me, the overall winners. Panels to hide the gaps in the lower legs so no huge gaping void as on NA and proportions that feel right to me. Wing tips would be nice but it’s not a hill I’ll die on. Excited to see them finally showing new pics.

I like the proportions, but NA just have more style and imo personality (as well as better plastic and paint).

But these do look cool, I’d like to check one out even though I have NA. Don’t know if I’ll go in on them though since they look to be 3-pack only.

Edit: I love my NA Datsuns though, these won’t be replacing them on the main G1 legends shelf.

MST appears to be a little wider, but overall they're pretty damn close.

My only complaint would be that the blue is too dark, lighten it up a tad and MS Bluestreak is a winner in my book.

NewAge hasn’t made a Huffer yet, and if they did he would be appropriately scaled.

I know we all want our legends from every company to be compatible with each other, but to spout off negativity towards one brand because another doesn’t scale well with it isn’t fair. You’re honestly doing yourself a disservice by skipping any NewAge toy.

There are examples of some that do. MST Prime, Trailbreaker, Hoist for example are wonderful additions to a NewAge display.
