    I'm here for this!

From the beginning I knew I was gonna get the best looking legends toon dino from MS and they delivered! Still a bit sad about the single snaggletooth keeping this guy from being perfect, but the lack of pinholes, bigger size and better dino legs & arms is gonna knock Ymir off my shelf when this releases.

ah yes, NA does! It’s so useful for Dino posing.
Love how MS goes an extra mile to design it without the pinholes. Both modes look like they shouldn’t be able to transform. Crazy wizard magic.

I love my Ymir to death but I might need this guy just for the hell of it, he looks awesome.

They'll have a harder time topping Rhedosaurus or Freyr though, I'm interesting to see how they handle them.

I'm really excited about the triceratops. Slag was one of my all time favs, toon and toy as a kid.
Not so much Sludge but the MS prototypes have got me anticipating that one too!

freyr maybe but i think a lot of opportunity exists with Sludge’s chest in botmode. unfortunately we’ve pretty much seen that MS did the same thing, making his chest a weird shape because the toon did. *facepalm*
those shoulder juts are just weird to me.

The teeth look fine from the front at least.

But both companies strive for toon accuracy. We should all know and expect it. I have no issue with it because that's what I want :)

…I mean i understand that sometimes accuracy and aesthetics are at odds, but i’m confused why you’d expect anything else from either of these companies.
I think it’s more about the mouth being closed than the angle, the bottom teeth fill in the weird gap.

The Sludge head is too elongated for my taste. Then again, I do prefer the Newage facesculpts in general

I'm confused what is off about the chest. The g1 toy looks to have a similar tapered chest to me

He's SUPER impressive. My main takeaway is that his Dino mode is larger than Newage's, whilst still being the same height in bot mode. That's a win for me, clever engineering

Still amazed by the amount of articulation MS was able to engineer into this awesomely bulky Grimlock. I also keep drooling all over the dinomode, with it's near perfect cartoon representation and expressiveness. Fully articulated dino arms including wrists and legs are awesome.
I'm for sure double dipping the Dinobots, but for the second set I'll be waiting for the inevitable painted versions, so I can switch between modes and looks.
Can't wait on what MS has in store for the rest of the Dino crew, I'm sure they will be just as good as this Grimlock :thumbs2:
