Magic Square MS-B33 Deadly

 

On the one hand, I want a Perceptor to watch over my dead Optimus. On the other hand, I want to wait and see if NA ever makes one. Hmm...

 

I kinda of prefer a smaller Perceptor and the MS is taller than Blaster and most or maybe all the carbots.

 

i dont know man the MS bot is hard to beat. i was blown away by this bot as soon as i got him in hand.

They will likely redo blaster to match soundwave’s aesthetic. Deadly is one of my favorite bots, I’m glad I didn’t have to spend MP money to get this look.

 

I think as they move into their 2.0 phase the Decepticons will all scale fine with the newer bots, Blaster and the older carbots will seem a little short. Not end of world throw your collection away short, but a bit short.

I am sure you're right about Blaster, it may take awhile if NA and MS really commit to their own little Combiner competition.

 

Honestly, I’m not committed to either brand. I feel like NA won it with the seekers and their bee/cliffy, whereas I’m going MS for combiners and Optimus/megs/Jazz so far. So whoever does blaster RIGHT will earn my dollas. 

 

Redoing Blaster is a total guess at this point. I can’t imagine it’s anywhere in there priorities atm.

 

i feel like it is something they could definitely do. there is no real design cost this time other than the tapes. so with the success of s-dubs it makes sense.

it would just be as simple as blowing him up a bit and getting new molds cut. after that they would absolutely crush it with blaster's little squad of tapes.

 

If they care about money and are smart they will do it and make a tape set too.
MS Perceptor just great my only negative is, I wish they made the gun red but that is something I can do myself if I really want to.
This version just scream mini MP.

Very happy with MS Percy. He’s clean and dynamic and matched the more modern aesthetic really well. Hip joints were a little loose but tightening the screws in the thighs helped a lot.
I’m definitely mixing and matching at the moment. MS win me over for Shocky, Percy and a bunch of older figures that NA hasn’t touched (Hoist and Inferno, Seaspray and Beachcomber) but I’m really happy with my NA Seekers and NA’s Bee and Cliffy are gorgeous (once you remove the extra heel kibble in bot mode)
Devy is going MS but I’m happy to mix and match these days.

 

so i got bored tonight and decided to fix old percy's deco. it can be a real bitch to get metallics to photograph well. but this bot looks much better in person now. a true premium legends bot i tell ya.

 

What's different? Is the window bezel silver now?

 

yeah i painted the bezel silver.

 

My copy showed up today. He's a neat little bot. I thought the constructicons were going to be my first foray into MS, but I'm happy to have this little dude.

 

Hey @NOCV, did you give any more thought to putting together a sniper kit for this guy?
