Pretty sure he mentioned mft in regards to the part of your post about wanting carbots. Mft did a legends Hound (legends+ actually but close).

Looks like they took the same approach as the MP figures with parts of the wings on the back. seems fine to me.

Interesting how you have options on thrust’s wings. I like them in the upward position myself, toon accuracy be damned.

Anyone else notice the Newage space bridge/stand in the background?

only thing i do like better is the option of the alternate wing position of Thrust in bot mode high behind the torso. if he can be had separately, i might bite.

otherwise no regrets here having bought NA trios over these MS ones. as with the recent MS-B14 silver/blue streak, i find their body/torso just too squared off and blocky looking.

I wish the knee guards are a bit smaller.

Everyone makes them as big as possible to be accurate to G1, but makes the figures look short -- it looks like they don't have thighs.

Despite how everyone is praising NA seekers, I've come to like the MST ones better.

Seeing the new photos I'm now liking these. I know I'm in the minority but I think those wing things are a nice touch

OK, I VERY much like that they don;t cheat on the coneheads actually being the nosecones of the jets.

And I'm coming around a BIT on their wing placement for Thrust. It LOOKS janky, but I can see how it might actually make him easier to pose than NewAge's approach of having them on the legs.

I also REALLY like Thrust's face sculpt.

So I WOULD buy Thrust if he were sold separately. But I'm NOT paying MP prices for a three-pack of the same basic mold.

MP prices? It's $90 for the three pack. That's $30 each. What MP figures are you buying for $30 each?

No, I'm paying $90 for Thrust and two others I don't want.

Ah, I misunderstood. So the same complaint I had about Newage bundling Brawn with Outback.

Yep. It bugs me in particular because it ruins one of the main appeals of this scale: they're relatively inexpensive.

You can always keep them for trades or to sell later on down the road. You never know who might be in the same boat as you and might just collect every version of a particular Conehead. I'm sure your not the only person who just wants one of them.
