I went back and edited what I typed.

And on that note: I just preordered it on Show.Z, because of FOMO, and I'm confident that the next MS-02 variant will not be the same deco as first run.

For people who bought MS-02B Nemesis direct from Magic Square, was the 99.99 price inclusive of shipping cost?

MS does not include shipping in their prices. Once you figure that in it is very close to the ShowZ price. ShowZ tends to be a few cents cheaper.

I think both versions of this mold are fantastic! Check out my review!

So what's the common solution found for his laser rifle not tabbing into the hands these days?

Any 3d printed options, or is shaving one side my only choice?

I will second this. I don't remember how long the free shipping from ShowZ normally takes, but I received my Dark Lord in just over 2 weeks if that matters.

Man.. the silver on this thing really makes it pop. I loved the black version of the legends over the original colours and i think i feel the same with the MP scaled one. I panel lined his eyes and reshaped the head like I did with the original and daayum he looks good.

Also, the joints on this thing are tight af.

    Great pics!

How and/or what did you reshape the helmet?

I've explained waaay back but its hidden in all the previous posts ahaha but I pretty much boiled his front half of the helmet and squeezed in to sit flush with his mask and bent his 'ears' out.

I then used a scriber to scrape around his eyes and panel lined it to make it look like his eyes are a seperate piece.

Here's a before and after with the original mould.

Nice! What did you use for the lining? I have those Unipin black markers and I think those are ok. I used to panel line my gundams with it...

I have to a agree with Dark lord having tight as hell joints. Like when I was transforming him into truck mode, the back wheels of the truck that are hidden inside the legs were SUPER tight to pull out. I pulled one out all the way out after taking the screw out. It would not slot in his legs. I couldn't put the part back in so I had to use a dermal to make the hole bigger. It slides in and out really easily now. But yeah... there is a few joints that are way too damn tight on this guy. Awesome figure though. I have both.

I would be extra careful with MS repaints especially since they do not adjust the mold to account for the new paint. I had ordered a Peach Girl and the tolerance was so tight it broke pieces. MS charges 20% restocking and shipping from the USA to Asia is not cheap. At that point you might as well take a loss vs. going through a return. A fraction of a mm can make a huge difference in experience, especially since the MS Toys offerings are so tightly engineered, but this is why I like MS. Just not good for repaints.

Yeah, the wrists, bicep swivel and hip joints on my copy are so tight it feels like it could snap off anytime. I havent transformed mine yet but i'll be careful around the legs. Thanks for the warning!

I used this after scribing around nemesis' eyes as i found panel lining pens tend to be a bit too thick. images.jpeg-43.jpg
And for optimus i mixed tamiya blue enamel with enamel thinner to get the same effect as the above product.

Do you disassemble the head completely and only dunk the blue portion of the head in boiling water or the entire head? Also about how long do you keep it in the hot water before dunking it in cold water? Thanks and sorry for all the questions!

Just the front half of the helmet, and doesnt matter how long as long as it gets soft enough to be pliable. Just make sure not to bend it too much or it might stress or even break the piece.

The red on the bumper didn't appeal to me so i painted them teal. It's not an exact match to the one applied on the robot mode but it still works and looks better to me.
