I don't have ER Optimus, but Generations Select G2 Meg is about the same size:

ER Optimus and Megatron are Voyagers, whereas 3p legends scale is a couple of heads taller than core, so they don't go together at all.

 

Yeah, I figured as much. It's a shame, I'm looking for a good Voyager size gun mode Megatron to replace my severely worn Henkei figure, but the likes of Hegemon or OS Megotroun don't look as good as MS's design. I'm not wise in the 3P neighbourhood, so is there an oversized KO of this figure or an undersized MP-36 that scales well with the current CHUG line?

Well I finally received my MS-B36 Megs, but he was missing a face, and it was the one I wanted to display him with too. Any chance there is anyone willing to part with or doesn’t need the laughing face for him?

 

For anyone interested, I noticed magicsquaretoys.com has the metallic, red legs, MS-B36X Megatron uploaded for sale on their site for only $45.99 plus shipping. I think that one has gotten a bit scarce, so I thought if anyone missed out and wanted it, it would be a good opportunity. They have been uploading figures pretty often so I'm curious to see what all will be offered on their site.

 

@Ash17 Have you tried their website to see if you can get the face you are missing? They have a "tickets" option in their customer service where you can turn in an issue and hopefully get a resolution. I haven't tried it myself but I saw that it was an available option.

Given what Magic Square are currently doing with their Optimus Prime by giving him the masterpiece scale treatment, I'd love to see them tackle Megatron by giving him the masterpiece scale treatment, articulated fingers as opposed to a set of hands, getting rid of Kremzeek and possibly better paint.

You know what? I'd be interested in that. I have the IT KO version, and it's good. But it has all the styling flaws of the MP (I HATE the 'zig-zag' looking waist plates). I would not mind an MP-stylized version of this figure.

Of course, I ALSO wouldn't mind a OS'd 19cm cleaned-up version of this guy either. In fact, I'd want that first

Is there anywhere the metallic version of this with the red inner legs is still for sale? I checked showz which is really the only 3rd party retailer I know of, and I checked MS's website but out of stock both places

 

If you can find the toy version of the figure, I’m pretty sure it’s just the metallic figure with optional stickers. Could be wrong though.

 

Yeah the toy details are all stickers. The only difference outside of that is that the toy version has grey legs while the metallic version has red legs.

 

there looks to be some listings on AliExpress, but i'd msg to confirm it's the 1st metallic version with painted red inner leg before buying.

If you want it, email them and let them know you're interested. I sent them an email last month asking if they had any plans to upscale their Megatron and their response was:

So, email them and let them hear your voice. The email address I used was [email protected] . I agree with you and would love to see an upscaled Megatron, especially with how well their Prime V2 turned out. Doubt we'd ever see it though if people don't ask for it.
