*thinks about inevitable MST Shockwave*
Quick, someone get my fainting pillow!
If MS upscales this to MP like they did with their Optimus Despotron's days on my shelf could be numbered.
You hear that Magic Square??!!! We want an MP Megatron and we want it now!
but seriously please, don't make me get on my knees and beg because i will!
He is a nice Megs, but I personally will (unless the paint job is phenomenal or something) be skipping him, simply because my GT Megs is of a similar size, proportion (big arms, barrel chest, small head, thick legs) and attitude, and the MS alt mode looks off from G1 in a similar manner (Gt gun handle was simplified + symetrical, whilst magic square handle looks way too thick, both to permit thicker legs in bot mode)
Meanwhile, I'll be picking up the NewAge silver megs because he is distinctly different, in that he matched the toy deco details, has toy proportion legs, toon upper body proportions, and his alt mode is more G1 matchup. So he offers more variety to the GT.
But you know.. that said, I've been known to double-triple dip.. sigh..
nice, but what is the size of this figure?
.4-.8 cm taller than their Optimus, most likely.
give us it.
great looking bot and a ton of accessories...
Yeah, looking at that, there's just no comparison in my mind between this and the one from New Age.
Gotta wonder though just why they all insist on doing that stupid mind-control helmet...
Also, aren't those some interesting background objects...
There’s no escaping it, gonna have to get both NA and MS Megs.
So I'm guessing this is next after the Datsuns. Whenever that may be...
So glad I pre-ordered this one... looks great with MS Prime too!!
Possibly not far away. Take a closer look at that second-last picture, the one with Megs and Prime standing side-by-side...
Aha that looks like a cop car
Prowl MP I think, too big for a legend
But isnt the elbow a ball joint?
MP Prowl for sure. I recognize that ball joint, it's the shoulder joint underneath the car chest.
