I used to get them in 2 weeks tops. I reached out to them and the said its "definitely taking longer due to the public health situation". The USPS delays are just the cherry on top the crap sundae.

I order on Black Friday sales so the delay I experienced is due to the high demand at that time I'm sure.

 

Sigh mine came with two right back thigh peices haha. Can't complete the transformation   hope showzstore helps.

Haha, pretty much sums up 2020!

 

So I didn't like that the purple gun and lightsaber from the final fight was not painted, so I decided to use some of my beginner level.gundam modeling skills to make them look more accurate. All I have done now is the pistol, I think it's Blitzwing's gun but I could be wrong.
First I masked off the sections with Tamiya tape, then used Tamiya matte light grey as a primer, next I did 2 coats of thinned Testor's light purple enamel, and finally sealed it up with a lacquer semi matte clear coat.

Stayed up during the night and did the lasersword. I like the pistol better but I'm happy with it.

 

looks great and as someone who ends up painting a lot of my legends guns. i appreciate the effort you put into that.

nothing is better than looking down at something the size of a dime that took well over 30 mins to tape up.

just out of curiosity. how do you like the tamiya tape? i use 3m blue and cut it down to size personally. i have never had a bleed out and it never bites my paint.

 

i use the Tamiya tape for my plamo kits and i really like it. no bleeds and easy to remove without biting into the paint. to be fair though, i haven't used any other tapes since i started building kits.

 

I don't have they're blue one it's the creamish yellow one, and it was on sale at my hobby lobby but it's pretty good. It's like the standard thin size of painters tape
I've used some cheap tape that made all of my paint blead out and made clean up a pain.

 

I love Tamiya tape. It's Just the right amount of tack and because it's relatively thin, I find it easier to work--especially on smaller projects--than ordinary painter's tape. I use the blue stuff if I need to mask over large areas and use Tamiya (6mm) for smaller areas and precision work. It's useful to have both in your arsenal IMO.

 

Cmon MS, make a MP size version of this.

i must say.... this certainly blows new age meg out of proportion....so happy that i got this instead!! his back is clean!! #backlivesmatter i hope ms give us their mp version of megatron.... my ms mp prime is lonely without his nemesis..

 

I swear, shipping partner Pitney Bowles keeps my figures and plays with them for a month on the long boat ride over, and then ships them out once she has had enough fun.

My MS Megs shipped July 28th and still hasn't landed on US shores. Anyway, no big deal, I have a spot dusted off for MS Megs to some day finish my season 1 arch bot 'cons, and boy, will it feel good when it happens.

Yep, 2 months on average but it's been getting a little quicker lately.

 

Love this Megatron and prefer it to match the Hot Soldiers Optimus. And also prefer it to be taller than Soundwave. So I added a 3mm plastic below the feet to increase its height and pull its leg lower at the hips. Now its perfect for my collection!
