Looks like Maketoys Despotron with a custom paint job.
Man I gotta say NA looks better there
The Magic Square's chest looks too wide but New Age's chest is too thin and his abdomen is way too long. No perfect choice but I do think overall MS has NA beat.
Looks to me like they extended the chest to allow the alt mode to look a little more accurate. I do think with a thinner chest, the alt mode would look pretty bad but I personally won't be displaying him in gun mode either. Thinner chest and I think MS Megs could look even better than the Masterpiece in bot mode.
Give MS a metallic/silver paint job and it should look better.
It looks good only because the thick legs are blocked from view.
i agree. NA in general has better styling and details for their figures compared to MS, and that MS looks overly blocky and bland.
if it wasn't for the fact of the lack of the back and having to buy the revised legs, i would have definitely went for NA instead of settling for MS. hopefully once i get MS meg in hand, i'll change my mind. but i have my reservations given my recent experience in getting MS prime and soundblaster.
i was more inquiring because of the how good the weather/damage is applied on the figure.
Pretty much my view exactly.
looks like MT Despotron
Yeah think it might be wishful thinking - although I think the posting to the UK from them has generally always been a bit quicker and on a boat should be even more so as it's less distance!! Boats from China to UK usually take about 4 weeks from port to port... nice bit of information garnered from my previous job!!
Ride or die with Magic Square!

Between the NA (which I own) and MS (which I should have soon), I feel like the perfect Megatron robot mode is somewhere in between. MS seems slightly too chunky while NA is a bit too skinny when they are shown next to each other. I still like the proportions of MP-36 the best, but both of these Legend scale Megs look pretty good in their own ways. Based on pictures I'd probably prefer MS over NA on this one, but I guess we'll see when I have the MS in hand.
They should make this guy mp scale.
Their Prime got braten by TE and mp-44.
But this guy beats all other megs out there.
I guess MS is scared because of the prime thing in the past.
MS made tons of bank on their MP Prime. I hope they don’t MP their Megatron because we already have MP-36 and I’d rather they make legends toys. But my guess is that they will eventually release an MP Megatron.
Wow! Such logic... LOL
Well in my opinion this would be great in MP scale, the engineering is great to where he has a back that doesn't look like a bay film metal pile
you may have posted in the wrong thread?
I agree with you to an extent slightly.
The MS and NA have they're own feeling in themselves, NA having a more sleeker look. Overall though MS has a more accurate look.
Also if you look at the proportions on the MP and the recent siege Meg's that Hasbro put out it's pretty close. I think it's because they have to put the head in the chest for transformation, but I don't have it in hand yet so I don't know for sure.
No little sarcastic jab about the crappy Kremzeek MST comes with, they should be ashamed
