New Age Legends Megatron
Like some like minded folks have said, please make this into MP scale so i can have a Megs to go with my MS-01!
Thanks for sharing on the boards guys. Just a friendly reminder. We can give news credit to all of you, but please link to a source of your images first. Thanks!
I don't collect Legends scale, but wow this is something else!
That's what we all said at one point!
That looks flipping amazing. What MS, Newage, Ironfactory etc etc can do with legends scale stuff is truly awe inspiring.
I thought Legends class toys were smaller than that. What they now call Legends class toys look more like Scouts to me!
Legends Class (2005) - Transformers Wiki
We use "Legends" around these parts much like "MP" is used--to denote a scale not a size class. Of course, that opens a can of worms about what counts as proper scaling, but that's another discussion!
Depends on the figure, you should see the size of new age bumblebee and the insecticons
I like this, but the accessories are not really exciting. Let me know if they make in in "safety" Megatron colors, or anything G2. I know people want their GeEw0N!! stuff but I miss the days when 3p companies will a need that Hasbro did not have covered.
Did Hasbro do a G1 Megatron in Legends scale that turns into a gun when i wasn't looking?
Kinda... but it was old legends.
Also because Megs is often thought of as being bigger this, or its Takara repaint could work too.
It is not clear whether this megatron has any kneck articulation other than rotation i notice..
He does have much better outward arm movement, the NA looks like he detransforms for his arm to go outward..
Ah yes....I think we can all agree this is a huge improvement on that though right?
I feel like your statement would be best given without the insults to fans of "that thing I don't like!"
"Geewun" is a stupid moniker. It's not a 3P's fault if they want to make something that sells (i.e. G1); it's not G1 fans' fault that there aren't more G2 fans like yourself. I just think it'd be more constructive to gush about why you think G2 Megatron is the best, rather than slyly hurl insults at other TF fans.
Yes, and in that regard this does fill a need, but a need that Hasbro already covered, but not very well and they will most likely never make a gun Megatron again.
Some people are pickier that I am and 3P companies are hitting that demographic more that they kooky stuff I'd like to see them do. Like I said let me know if the do some crazy repaint, then I'll see if it's worth the higher prices that these kinds of products go for.
Plus it's not like G2 has been completely ignored by 3p legends: MS, MFT and IF all released G2 Sideswipes and NA released a G2 deco of their Jazz.
MS does a nice job. That's all.
There's a reason why so many of us are geewunners. G2 just plain sucked with their ridiculous 90s color palettes (Megatron's eggplant color scheme) and no other continuity has captured the feel of the original (though I am a huge fan of TFP). Hell, even many of the later G1 figures/characters couldn't capture the feel of the first few years.
It wasn't that sly.
